IN MY OPINION
I can always identify a good skateboard when I see one and this one is no different- especially for the price. I live in ASU campus where there are overpriced skateboards everywhere and none compare to the simplicity of design that is this skateboard. It was loosely packaged, imo (they could have used more cushion inside), but luckily mine arrived with no damage. The spokes are silver and look excellent. I believe they're steel or some other inexpensive metal- not a problem for me. I'm skateboarding, not trying to be the silver surfer. The wheels are kind of soft- I imagine for a smoother rider and designed for like a wooden coast path or smooth pavement. I dont see that as a problem, again I'm skateboarding, not trying to off-road in coal and sulfur the thing. The screws are all in tight- which is a plus because I didn't buy a ratchet. The wheel screws are nice and tight but not too tight that slows speed. BTW, the wheels are kind of soft, so expect to purchase new wheels in at least 5 months if you are a ROUGH rider. On to the things that pleased me most: the color. I cannot get over how premium this coloring is. The wood is a very deep dark brown and the blue is a dark navy blue. These colors are so chill you could probably get away with riding this thing in a suit. If a competition of looks are concerned, this wins hands down- especially considering sometimesthere may be dirt on the ground- and we all know those lighter boards are hideous when dirty, we may not have that problem with this board. Overall I give the board a 5/5 for presentation, mechanics, and time of deliever. (I paid the extra to get it in one day). For this price, I am very impressed. Also, the top black layer of grip is Rough. It will literally eat you, be careful if you're like me and carry your board behind your back.

Everyone I know love this thing and can’t believe the price.
I live in Miami Beach and I’ve been siting everywhere for a few years now. Work, beach, groceries... I do everything in a board. I had a Rayne and loved it until a car ran it over. The trucks were fine so I ordered an Arbor deck. Hated it. Then I found this one and I thought the design and colors were cool and it came complete so I would have some spare parts. When this thing came in I couldn’t believe it. It’s heavy and solid and the dip creates a lit center of gravity. It goes over everything that would normally mess you up. I saw some people saying it cracked on them and I have no idea how that’s issuable unless it was seriously damaged in shipping. All my friends ride and when we meet up we have like 6-10 boards with us and this one is the favorite. Totally worth it. The only thing I would say is that I used my Gullwing Sidewinder 2 trucks and bigger wheels. The regular trucks weren’t my favorite but custom trucks still aren’t going to make this thing anywhere close to expensive for what you get. I switched out my ABEC7 bearing for the 9’s this came with and they feel great too. Oh yeah, I also let a friend try it who does not skate at all and she took off on it right away. It’s so solid and wide it gives anyone confidence it’s going to be easy to balance in and get speed/carve. If you’re thinking about it, do it. If you don’t like it I’ll buy it from you 😂

Fun and fast!
I’ve been skateboarding my entire life though I’m no expert and I’m new to longboards. Given that : I’m very happy with this board! It has decent flex as far as I can tell, certainly more flexible that retrospec’s pintail model. It has nice, big, soft, wheels which feel very smooth on asphalt. The drop down design is sweet! The shape allows for good leverage on the trucks for fun, tight, carves while maintaining a low center of gravity which increases stability when you pickup some speed and it’s very easy and comfortable to push because you’re closer to the ground. Highly recommended!

good quality for price and easy to learn, but needs upgrades
great board to learn on and I love the drop deck design. a little longer than I thought it would but but it's actually just right. love the sleek design (while it lasts). had to tighten the trucks a lot when I first got it but that was all to preferencemy only complaints are that I have to replace the bearings right away and will now be replacing the wheels as well as they use a rather hard plastic instead of what I need.Overall, very pleased with this board and I have already recommended it to a friend for its drop and size. just need to upgrade bearings and wheels.

good quality for what you pay.
i used to ride longboards a few years back, had some very very expensive boards and i loved it! well, eventually life took over and i no longer had time or energy to ride anymore, so i sold them. a few years later my brother sees a youtube video of someone longboarding, and he decided he wanted to buy one and try it out, so ifigured what the heck, and bought one with him just to teach him and just have some family fun. i did extensive research on over 50 different boards all under the price of 160$, in the end i ended up choosing this retrospec board and couldnt be more pleased. i read all the reviews on this board and was hesitant on ordering it because of all the bad revviews and messed up boards. well im 5"11 at about 210lbs and the board hold me great, feels great and handles great.upon receiving the package i noticed the mail carriers did not handle it with care, the box arrived with a few tears and holes, wasnt looking too promising, however, when i opened the box i was sure to inspect the board very well, and the only bad thing i can say is the grip tape is just a little off in certain places, you dont really notice it unless you are really looking at it.9/10 would buy again

NOT A WASTE OF MONEY AT ALL!!!!
I’ve owned many boards, and this was on I was iffy on because it was so cheep. But oh my gosh, it exceed my expectations. Besides the occasional sqeak when you lean to turn this board is excellent for the people who don’t want to spend 100 dollars for something that will break in a couple years. This is the board I’d recommend to beginners because it’s got a good arch, the design is sleek and well finished, grip tape holds you well in place, the wheels work well and look great, to be honest I could keep going because this board is just that GOOD!!
