Have used ferrule crispers for some time. Price has a lot to do with the finished product AND how easy it is to use. I tried this as an alternative to purchasing a new $300.00+ unit thinking the price would have me returning it if it didn’t measure up. I was very surprised how well it worked, quality of crimp provided and level of force required to ratchet the tool. It has been working fine for a couple months with no issues.

In the industrial electrical construction fired these are literally a must have.I've no idea how many ferrules I crimp in a week or a month- but it's not just a few here and there. the primary advantage of the 6 point crimp versus the four point is that these crimp almost perfectly round. The round crimp fits in terminal blocks a lot better than square crimps do.for those of us who use these regularly we find square crimps tend to hang up inserting into term blocks, leading to loose, ineffective terminations. I've used these on Everything from 22 ga. Up to 10 ga, and not found any sort of a problem. I've owned much more expensive crimpers, and I prefer these.at 25% of the cost of high end crimpers these are definitively a win.in fact, my over priced crimper live in my toolbox now.wish I had found these first. Seriously, if you want a great crimper for the right money you really can't lose with these.

I used this right away and added varying sized ferrules to a variety of braided copper wires. It works great and I am impressed with the build quality.

I’ve used several ferrule crimpers, but this hexagonal model from iCrimp is a game-changer. Unlike the standard square crimps that can sometimes be a tight fit in certain terminal blocks, the hexagonal profile creates a much more rounded, uniform shape. It fits perfectly into every terminal I’ve tried so far.

Works excellent on “boot lace” ferrules. Holding up great so far. Myself, I wouldn’t use this type crimper enough to justify $300+. This one works just as well as those high priced ones and it shipped with two replacement springs incase one breaks.

I've used quite a few different crimping tools over the years, this is definitely a quality product. Tip: If the tool is "over crimping" and causing the ferrule to fall apart, you can reduce the crimp pressure by adjusting the dial on the side (after removing the small screw). A lot of issues can be resolved by adjusting this for the application. Many of the negative reviews I've seen for this tool could probably be resolved by using better materials and/or sticking to the application they are intended for.

Bought this to go with a kit of wire ferrules. Looked at another brand I will not name and they wanted almost three hundred dollars for it. This does the same thing without costing way too much. Never had a wire ferrule crimp fail. Very easy to use and it's inexpensive. Absolute no brainer.

This product has a great feel, and easy to use with one hand. The 6 point crimp makes it easy to fit the wire into a variety of terminal blocks. Great product for the price!
