It's Square D. To me there's none better. Cheaper yes but remember you get what you pay for. For the price, it's a great deal.

Replacement part. Works great, easy to install.

At first I thought this would not fit in my Square D Homeline Breaker Box since it was physically much larger than the other breakers in my box. However, the parts that connect to the box are the same in configuration as the lesser amp breakers that fit in the box. So I found that indeed it does fit in that box. The unit I received has the number HOM2100 without the CP on the end. The meaning of CP is a mystery; one possible definition is "consumer product," as if made from the Homeline products & not for the other -- QO or whatever. I found the explanations of "CP" on the Schneider site as confusing & inconsistent. But bottom line for me is that it fit in the box. I did have some problem getting it in, but that was probably due to the #2 wire I had in the box partly blocking it. I have had very little experience with it installed yet. Schneider's customer service / tech support really didn't have good answers for me when I asked them about it; in fact one emailed me that my box would not receive this breaker, claiming 70-Amps was the max size for my Square D box (tho it is rated for 100-amps).

Perfect fit for the application. Ease of installation and Price was a Lille less than the local home center.
