Great product if used correctly. I will but again when needed.
This is 34 year old original carpet that was heavily stained an was a real mess as you can see from first photo.I used a small spotbot extractor with hot water an resolve an shampoo the carpets twice.Waited until they were dry the next day an dyed the carpets. For this two door 1984 Bmw I used two cans. I feel that it was enough however three cans would have been a bonus incase I had to do any touch ups in the future.

WORKED ... with caveats :)
WORKED! I have beige/taupe carpet and upon reading reviews for carpet dye paint that it was always darker than expected, I ordered the too-light-at-first-glance off white color. And it was PERFECT. I had a 2" yellow bleach stain with a bit of dark orange in the center on my carpet. Following the directions to the letter, this worked to disguise the stain ~90% (nothing will ever be perfect...it's a STAIN). That got me so excited that I went overboard for a different stain, and to my dismay it did NOT work (so warning: too much product at too close a spray point does NOT improve efficacy and in fact makes it worse). However, I'm now in the process of trying to bleach out that stain so that I can THEN use this product! The reason for 4 stars is because the nozzle system is way to sensitive so I ended up spraying myself and this stuff does NOT come out. Treat it like using spray nail polish: it will come off skin with harsh scrubbing but otherwise only acetone will take it off (so if you have fake nails like me, forget it - only a manicure will fix 'em). And there's no way to "dab" this stuff, either - it's a forceful spray or nothing. I sprayed some paint in a small glass of water and while this stuff congealed on the surface and I could use a small brush to dab it, I ended up ruining the glass and the paint brush...oh well. I'm still so happy to have disguised that one stain that I don't care.

Works
This product hid a fairly awful looking bleach stain in my carpet. The color wasn’t an exact match, but it blended in alright. I found what worked best was setting up a paper border to catch overspray. I then used a gloved hand to massage the product deeper into the carpet and applied multiple light coats. The product has held up or vacuuming and is not grossly obvious upon observation. However, looking closely, you can tell that the fibers are coated in something. I’d be cautious about overdoing it in a single coat if you are attempting to use on carpet as it would probably result in a mottled appearance with lots of fused carpet fibers.

Perfect match
It took me a few orders before I found the perfect match for my 98 suburban. I was looking for the perfect tan to match the interior. Application of the spray is easy after a little practice. I used it on the set of Panel and the dash board. Vintage tan was used. Be sure not to spray it on too heavy or it will run. I sprayed a light coat....waited 15 minutes and then went back to spray another light coat several times to make sure the pieces were heavily saturated. Good luck with your project.

Cannot use chart nor can picture to properly get the color you want
This is hard to buy online! And note that you CANNOT return this! I have bought two trying to find a bit dark brown leather color. First bought the LIGHT BROWN based from the chart, when i got it, it is lighter than the lightest color on the can in the picture. More like tan/beige. Ordered another one based from my experience and bought RED AUTUMN. I based it on the lighest color of the can pictured.. when i got it, its straight up burgundy with a very minimal hint of orange? BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! The colors are not displayed right at all! Two is enough for me, im not wasting any more money on this listing!

My only complaint is that the sprayer is of poor quality and the dye drips terribly from the nozzle
I was dubious this could work. The paint/dye came out a slightly different color than my damaged carpet BUT over the period of a few days blended amazingly well. My only complaint is that the sprayer is of poor quality and the dye drips terribly from the nozzle. I quickly learned to use paper towel to catch the dripping and cover my hand. Given the price, i still give it 5 stars and i am even willing to pay a bit more for this product IF they upgrade the nozzle. I would and will buy again as i expect my dogs will continue to find pens to break open and other things they can use to cause damage - yikes!

Worst spray paint experience I've ever had
Burgundy is typically a dark red, right? Maybe a hint of brown, but mostly red or even somewhat purple. Not with this stuff. It's straight up dark chocolate brown. And that'd be fine if I was going for an espresso look. But I was hoping for a dark red or burgundy. And the reviews about the nozzle leaking like crazy? 100% right. To it's credit, if you actually do manage to get this stuff on what you're painting, it actually does work. Maybe it's my fault for buying "burgundy" instead of regular red, but this was a major disappointment. So if you want a dark brown look and you're okay with it not spraying well at all, leaking out all over the front of the can and getting paint on your hands, this stuff is for you!

Blew my mind it worked so great
Well, this certainly blew my mind. I had a dark stain on beige carpet. Nothing faded it. So I put bleach on it... Well, that sure faded it and I had a nice yellow area in my otherwise beige carpet. Ooooops. So I tried this product, even though the color on the cap is not anywhere close to my carpet. And it worked. It took several applications, but it totally blended it in. I had to rub the spray in, in between coats, so it wouldn't deposit just on the surface. It looks totally amazing, as in perfectly invisible. Woohoo!
