Mega Chief Watch for Men, Chronograph Men's Watch

Bought this as a Father’s Day gift for my boyfriend. He loved it!!

I bought my used. Not a scratch on it. Beautiful watch. Hard to see date in dimly lit areas but small complaint for beauty of watch. I will purchase another exactly the same. I have a thin wrist looks fine, idk why they keep saying not for thin wrist. It is 51mm and heavier, but looks fine on me. I get compliments on it all the time.

I purchased this watch looking for a bold, masculine design, and the Diesel Mega Chief definitely delivers. From the moment you hold it, you can feel the weight and solid construction of the stainless steel, which gives a strong sense of durability and quality. The case size is ideal for those who prefer larger watches without looking oversized, and the dial details are well executed and easy to appreciate. It works well for everyday wear but can also be dressed up for more formal occasions, which is a big plus for a watch of this style. I rarely write watch reviews but this is literally one of the best watches I bought in a long time. Paired it with appropriate clothing and I was turning heads all along.

Overall it’s a nice looking watch. Pleasing to the eye and I’ve gotten compliments on it. It’s a bit heavy, but bearable. Only complaint I have is that a week after I bought it , the price dropped almost 100 dollars so it was a bummer. Timer works fine and the clasp quality seems fine. For some it may be pricey, but if you can afford I think is a niece piece.

When I opened the box and saw the white leather (looking) box the watch comes in I was impressed, because the box is impressive. The watch is held in place with a big white perforated leather (looking) pillow along with a thick printed manual. This is an impressive watch especially when you first, take it out and get to see how crisp and clean the white markings appear against the black face, get to see the actual size and feel the weight. I have other watches that have white markings against a black background but the way it's done on this watch puts my others to shame, these markings or the method used is truly impressive! The band is impressive as well and looks high quality. I was pretty sure from the pictures that, even though I've had trouble quickly telling the time on some watches, this one should be no problem ... and it isn't, it's very easy. Whenever I pull out the stem of a watch for the first time I can get a pretty good feel for how well it's made and get a good indication if the watch will be durable. I own a dozen watches and the only trouble I've had with any have had to do with the stem. I recently bought a RELIC brand watch and the second time I pulled the stem out .. the stem came out, in my hand and I could have predicted it because the first time I pulled it out if "felt thin and flimsy" and didn't stop solidly at the detent positions for setting date and time. This watches' stem feels thick and sturdy, detented nicely and felt firm but smooth when I pushed it all the way in after setting. The push buttons for the chromometer likewise feel sturdy but smooth and the chronometer operates nicely. I've never had a watch where any metal resides in front of the glass the way the "fingers" that frame the date window does on this one. It really sets this watch apart from all others and I love the look of it. Though the date window is probably the weakest part of the watch, being small, hard to read and, if you ever want to read the date around 3 o'clock you can't because it's covered by the hour hand. I love the band, it looks expensive and is nicely plated. The latch works smoothly and, once latched, feels very secure and even though this watch is no lightweight, I don't have any fears the latch will come undone. This is a beautiful watch and even though it looks complex it really is a pretty basic watch that I expect will hold up well. It's not as heavy as I feared it would be and is very comfortable even over long periods. I'm always careful about scraping my watch against things but because of the size of the face and the plating on the metal, especially that in front of the glass, I will be extra cognizant with this one. If you like the way this looks in the picture and are in the market for a larger watch, one that's easy to read ... you will absolutely love this when you get it in your hands. I love it and hope it will serve me for a long long time.

This watch gets comments all the time. It’s affordable but it’s not cheap. It’s large and makes a statement.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who doesn’t really wear watches. What he loves the most is the fact he can wear it on a daily basis or out to town if he wants. So glad I bought this for him. I thought he suited smaller watches but the watch size actually suits him.

Premetto che adoro gli orologi dal quadrante ampio e quindi potrei essere di parte ma questo modello e' davvero tanto elegante quanto pratico. A mio avviso il peso non e' eccessivo e questo lo rende facile da portare senza stancare il braccio. Ovviamente l'ampiezza della cassa presuppone un polso di relativa dimensione per non dover ne vederselo "ballare" ad ogni movimento ne strabordare eccessivamente dal braccio. Gran bel orologio. Acquisto che rifarei nuovamente anche visto l'enorme risparmio (100 euro) rispetto al prezzo di listino e di alcuni store ufficili DIESEL a cui mi ero rivolto per vederlo di persona prima dell'acquisto.
