My only mistake when I purchased this tower was choosing the model with the hammock. They have the same model with a shelf where the hammock on my model is. My cats 🐈 are way to big for this hammock. So, I decided to contact the manufacturer and see if I could order a shelf to go in place of the hammock. Let me tell you how amazing Dora from customer service is! We shared multiple emails every day until she made it happen. Dora wanted to know all about my boys, I though that was so kind.
