does the grip feel like you're using a popsocket?

No. It’s a loop that slides and the material is soft and flexible. I like it better than a pop socket because it’s more functional and comfortable.

I do have a case on my phone but if the adhesive is fine to stick to a case, you should be just fine sticking it directly onto the phone! It’ll even fit more than 3 cards!
