antronix amplifier
after trying many brands this on is the only one that worked. I'm really happy with it and it didn't cost an arm and leg. The charter cable company spent two weeks and over 6 tech.s trying to solve the weak signal problem, so after they left I purchased one of these amplifiers and it worked right away. I get HD signals stronger than ever before. I purchased 2 more for my other tv's, replaced the RCA amplifiers and also got a stronger signal and works great. I'm now ready for football.

Worked as intended. Solved high upstream power issue for my cable modem.
Due to cable wiring in my house, my cable modem always has high upstream power issues. Had a Motorola BDA-K1-RA to mitigate it for more than 10 years which died recently. Had to find a replacement and finally found this one. It simply worked as intended. Now both downstream and upstream power are within the optimal range.

Why was it so hard to find what I needed?!?!
I've been struggling for a couple of years now with random, intermittent signal dropouts (several times per week, sometimes multiple times per day) on a connection that is otherwise mostly very stable and very fast. My first hint of what the actual problem was, happened when the download would connect just fine, but the upload wouldn't...Upon further inspection, sure enough, the power levels on the upload side were too high (>53dBmV on each of four upload channels without any splitters in the system). My download channels' power were all actually pretty low so I knew they could benefit from the forward amplification as well. After installing this, I am now in the mid-40s on all upload channels and haven't had any cut-outs sinceGranted, it's only been two weeks, but I'm still happy! If I had to find a complaint, it's that products like this shouldn't be so hard to find, and they shouldn't be so expensive!!! Still, 5 stars from me if it continues to stave-off the cut-outs

Works great!!!
Customer service is great!! They are very friendly and fast. I have purchased this before a few years back an it works great. Without this I can't have cable and wifi at the same time because the signal isn't strong enough. Once I hook the amplifier up I have a great picture and a great wifi signal at the same time. If your signal is weak this is what you need!!

Signal from cable company not so hat - this solved that problem.
I asked for a 10dB gain amp, and was sent one that does over 20! They saw the mistake and traded it out at no extra charge to me. Outstanding customer relations on this product. The cable company provided 1 dB at the modem, which was not enough to drive the router and get a reasonable signal throughout the house. This can be placed outdoors or indoors. Ours was placed indoors, and the quality is beyond what I expected. If you have a low signal, this is the answer, but you must understand how much signal is available at the modem. 1 dB is Not a measurement that would mean that -1 dB would not be anything. 1dB is equivalent to 1,000 microvolts. However, if your signal is less than 1 dB, your TV or computer/pictures will always be grainy. Check what is available first. Remove and inspect splices, which can have moisture or even the center conductor on coaxial cable could suck back and not make a connection. There are a multitude of variables to consider before purchasing this item.

Doesn't work
Didn't help with my dropped internet connection at all. Don't waste your money. It might be that I was sold damaged goods since when I returned it I was told it was damaged and charged 50% restocking fee. So who knows if this product really works or not.

A must for me.
I have a roof antenna and a 50' run of RG-6 4 shielded cable (a must. Don't use the 59 garbage). This one:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024R4B5C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I get few channels without the Antronix amplifier. I plug this thing in and I get about 15 channels along with the other sub channels getting me over 50 channels! I live 20-40 miles from the broadcast stations that I get and one is in the opposite direction of where the antenna is pointing and I still get it.I guess this is also a good endorsement for the Yagi antenna. I'm surprised this small thing works at all....especially for the low VHF stations that I get like ch2 and ch4 which is about 30 miles away. I may try a lager Channel Master antenna and see how that works out. Maybe a 45 mile CM-5016.Note: This thing gets hot, so I unplug it when I'm done watching the TV. I bought mine in 2017 and used to leave it plugged in all the time, so I suspect it's very reliable. I have used other amps, even the Channel Master and nothing was nearly as good as this one. Buy it!

Failed In the HEAT of the desert
The Fra1-1510 By Antronix did very well in my home for 4 months till it failed. I have 2 cable modems so with a 3 way unbalanced splitter at the side of the house and a 2 way splitter in my office left me no head room to add a tv in my office. After installing the Fra1-1510 By Antronix i was able to put in a 6way splitter in my office that had 11db of loss which was need because the amp was to strong on the uplink side. I ran it this way for 4 months till i started noticing upload packet loss. Took out the amp and the 6way splitter and put back in the 2 way splitter in my office and everything is fine again minus a tv for my office . I can only assume the 110 degree days must of done something to the amp but i have no way to verify.
