MG Chemicals 403A 134A Super Cold Spray, 400g (14 oz) Aerosol Can

LOVE this stuff, it has so many different uses! It works great removing skin tags, and raised moles. But I also used on a circuit board that had stopped working, and it complexly fixed the problem. I also sprayed it into the charging port of my phone after dropping it into the tub, and it completely dried the water out. This stuff is like WD40 always have a can available.

This works if you use it correctly. I sprayed some into a plastic cup as others have advised, then used a long Q tip to apply it to the area I wanted frozen off. The other important thing to know is that you need to leave the saturated Q tip on your skin for a few seconds until you feel a strong stinging sensation, then don't remove the Q tip until it stops stinging. It's scary at first because I thought it might freeze my skin too deeply if I left it on that long, but whenever I didn't, the spray did nothing. This spray after letting it do its job never froze off more skin than I wanted or went deep enough into my skin that it damaged it. I removed lots of brown spots, scaly areas, and bumps. Sometimes after the area healed I had to repeat the process again or several times but sometimes it worked the first time. I'm thrilled to have found this, especially at my age, where I was beginning to develop more sun spots on my face from too much sun exposure in the past. My dermatologist wouldn't remove them as they weren't enough of a skin cancer risk but I hated them and now my face and hands are almost totally clear. Some bumpy stuff on my body hasn't gone away by using the spray so I'm going to repeat the process a few more times on those and may have to pay a dermatologist to remove them but on my face this stuff has deleted most of them.

FIRST, have dermatologist CONFIRM they are benign (not small cancers or pre-cancerous). Also, avoid any treatment near or above the eyes. Then hold can upright with red tube attached (previously shortened to about two inches) on object and SLOWLY DRIBBLE the liquid onto objects until they turn white. Repeat one or two times, limiting the freeze zone as much as possible. Tags will fall of by themselves in a few days. Larger, more imbedded objects ay take a couple of weeks to release. Be patient. Afterwards, there may be a slight blemish on the skin that will disappear in a week or so.

MG Chemicals Super Cold Spray, 400g (14 Oz) This is not advertised for medical use, so it is not fair to criticize based on effectiveneas of wart and skin tag removal. It will do a good job of electronic component cooling - the advertised usage! Based on the type of refrigerant in the can it will cool down to around -62deg fahrenheit - that is just physics. Digital thermometers, unless for medical/laboratory usage, will not measure below about -40 to -50 deg F (who knows what the instrument might show). I have used this refrigerant (carefully sprayed into a 1 oz cup to about a 1/4" depth) using Q-tips to freeze warts, skin tags, and old-age surface skin spots. It works as well as the medical freeze sprays for this purpose. The purpose of collecting some in a cup is to keep the Q-tip cold as the liquid will evaporate rapidly once applied to warm skin. Always wear glasses, and do not spray directly on the skin as the doctors sometimes do with a specialized device. You could end up with serious freeze burns. If you have old freeze applicators from a package sold for medical purposes you could us those since they could work better than Q-tips. Again, the manufacturer is not saying this stuff should be used except for purposes advertized. I do not work for these guys.

I found a growth near the right front should of a 5 year old Llaso Apso dog. He has hair, rather than fur, so requires grooming and I didn't want to work around the raised growth that is/was similar to a wart. I had speculum on hand that came with an otoscope and found that a 3mm fit tighly over the growth. I treated it three or four times (photo is after the first treatment) but it remained solid and the treatment was only killing the top surface. I decided to use a 4mm speculum to allow the freezing liquid to freeze the sides and a bit of surrounding skin. Treatment has been recent, and the growth has not come off yet, but I an now fully confident that it will. The unsatisfactory early treatments are only due to my inexperience of working the the Super Cold spray. Since I graduated to the larger speculum results are much better. I have treated it twice with the larger speculum and am pretty sure that it will be enough. Looking forward to healed smooth skin and it won't take long. See photo showing brownish color.... Happy to have been able to treat him at home. He didn't seem to mind at all, and sat still in my lap while I held the speculum with thumb and forefinger and spray into the speculum. Overspray hit my thumb and forefinger and were cold but no damage. The liquid bubbled inside the speculum and froze it to his skin and the growth until it all evaporated. Very simple with a cooperative dog. I'm happy to have found it and can recommend, but it is nowhere near as cold as liquid nitrogen, but much less money and it is getting the job done.

The spray itself does a very good job of helping to ID temperature faulty components in audio gear. Unfortunately the spray nozzle design on this product is terrible. I've ordered this spray multiple times (It does work) and in all three cases the nozzle assembly has failed to function properly after just a few uses. The trigger mechanism eventually fails to activate the valve on the can. By using two hands I've been able to apply sufficient pressure to get the valve to activate. Not really conducive to applying an accurate, measured spray. I have no issue with the seller or the effectiveness of the coolant but the spray nozzle needs to be redesigned. Wastes a lot of time and coolant.

We bought this bc the wait times to get into the doctors is insane so figured kind as we’ll give this a try. We used it for a skin tag, took about a couple weeks before it fell off! It worked! When using, make sure the straw is on and wear gloves bc it can spray everywhere so you just need to be careful with getting it on you. We sprayed it on a q-tip and just pressed it on and held it o there for about 10 seconds and did it every day for a week. Great option for at home!

This is the same stuff they use in medical clinic to freeze up warts. The key here is to know how to use it and not spray on good skin. I'm sure this has other purposes but I bought it for wart freeze up and it worked!

My only critique is with the straw attachment is too long. So I then cut it in half as the spray is hard to apply correctly when doing it yourself. Without the plastic straw then the nozzle when pressed goes up and down/ If you are trying to spray a small area it misses or is spread out over a larger area on your skin. The cold temperature applies is perfect far as I can tell.

This is a good product, I use this for quickly detecting shorted components on circuit boards. This product is not limited to that only, I have used this also to remove skin tags and skin blemishes successfully. No complaints and price is competitive.

Pricey. The trigger mechanism didn't work very well. Rather flimsy. The freezing fluid ran out pretty quickly.
