Finally a book with with lots of suggestions and examples on how to find evidences on each of the assessment criteria for all the IB Visual Art Components ! It's incredible easy to understand and worth buying . It has given me a lot of confidence in teaching , interpreting the assessment objectives and to guide my students to prepare for the best ! My students also loved it !

This is an excellent resource for teachers and students to assist their understanding of the requirements of the Visual Arts course. Clearly laid out, each aspect of the course is explained and there are plenty of examples of students' work to illustrate a range of possible approaches. Recommended.

This is a very good guide, well explained and full of illustrations, examples and tips about the essential components or the Visual Arts IB DP. It is expensive though, considering how thin the sheets and the book are, it feels more like a magazine than a book.

Finally, a concise, clearly laid out reference book which will save teachers of Diploma a lot of time. This quick go-to companion means I no longer have to trawl through websites to find relevant information, decipher IB documentation, compose worksheets or guidance sheets, or prepare resources for the CS, EE or PP components for my classes. This book explains how to layout a journal, provides a range of examples of students work, offers guidelines/tick lists and thoughtful critical questions for each of the 3 components while referencing up to date marking Criteria.The first chapters are especially helpful for the earlier months of the course when I introduce formal elements, art language, gallery visits and approaches.Refreshingly easy to follow. A helpful guide for all DP Visual Arts teachers, especially if you are new to delivering this course.A great personal guide for students and schools who wish to order class/individual sets.
