Nylon Straining Bag- 10" x 23"- Fine Mesh

I've been looking for something to help extract liquid from cauliflower for my keto diet. I always used paper towels to remove all of the liquid. It worked fine, but I had to use so many. I tried using towels, but that was too messy for me. I decided to order this nylon straining bag. It is larger than needed, but that doesn't bother me. It was so easy getting all of the liquid out of the cauliflower and cleaning the bag was a breeze. There are probably other products for the purpose I needed it for, but I'm happy enough to not look elsewhere.

It worked as expected. It is machine washable, I wish it had a drawstring to close it. I was able to fit about 28 cups of chopped apples in this bag to make some apple wine. So it is plenty large. I don't know if it is really needed for wine making. Before purchasing this bag, I used a cheap laundry bag for delicate clothing. It was much less expensive, worked great, had a zipper, held a large amount of fruit and I was able to machine wash it.

I use it for my home wine making. It's very strong. Easy to work with it.

The nylon straining bag works really well for straining the juice out of blackberries. I cooked the berries and used a hand mixer to separate the seeds from the berries. I put the berry mix in the straining bag and and put the bag in the primary fermenter. At the end of the primary fermenting I squeezed the juice out if the bag. Basically only the seeds were left in the bag. So, all the juice came out of the bag.

I did not receive the 10x23 bag. I received one that is approximately 24x26 square. It works fine, but it is a bit more cumbersome for brewing than the 10x23 bag would have been. The only reason to knock off a star is because it wasn't the size I ordered. Otherwise, great!

Works awesome. Would be easier to use if the opening was draw string but iv used for multiple batches of wine and just tied the opening into a knot. It never came undone during stirring.

Great thing about this bag after It is washed for the first time. The bag can be used for a multiple of items it will catch the smallest seed of strawberries when mak8ng a juice or it will keep the fiber in the bag. I used it for juicing.
