Gezellig Cookies Vegan Original Caramel Filled Wafel Cookies (Vegan Stroopwafels) - Box of 16 Individually Wrapped Dutch Cookies

These are a healthier tasting stroopwaffel. The waffle part tastes multigrain and a bit too thick. The caramel isn’t right either. I’m vegan but I had the real thing in Amsterdam before and the day I ordered these vegan stroopwaffels appeared in my coop and they were soft and delicious. So I can say confidently these don’t taste right or have the right texture. I didn’t want to keep eating it. I’m sad to even write this because the company included a handwritten note of thanks in the box, and I don’t want to discourage companies from venturing into the vegan market.

I have loved stroopwafels for long time. I used to get them at Starbucks, but theirs tasted and even felt so processed. These Gezellig stroopwafels are so, so much better for the same price. Get your coffee at Starbucks, but bring your own Gezellig stroopwafels. I saw their video online - love the story of a grandmother passing down the secret recipe to what is now a woman-owned business. Love it!

This is a small local company in my area and these cookies are all over town in small shops. I was so excited to see I can get them in a big batch on Amazon to share now! A nice sweet treat but not too sweet and goes great with coffee. I've used these cookies while hiking and backpacking too. They pack well and are a great energy boost when needed or, as my son says, a yummy dessert by the campfire (way neater than s'mores)!

These are so delicious. They taste like little bits of caramelly heaven. The waffle is nice and crispy and the caramel is smooth. They can be a bit oily but I look at that as delicious flavor.

I usually drink my coffee on the go during the week so I look forward to relaxing on weekends with my cup of coffee accompanied with a stroop caramel wafel cookie from Gezellig Cookies. I place the stroop wafel over my hot coffee to soften the center and melt the caramel. It's light and not too sweet. I recommend Gezellig Cookies to add to your morning coffee routine for an added perk to your day!

I love these Stroopwafels! I have tried many different brands and these are the best. So happy they are available on Amazon. The box can be converted into a display holder for a party or the office. I’m going to bring mine to my book club next week. My favorite is the original, but all the flavors I’ve tried are good. Good over (literally, on top of the cup) coffee or by themselves. Such a unique treat!

The vegan cookies are so delicious. They’re not as sweet as most stroopwaffles. They somehow have a savory raisin taste even though there are no raisins in them and that taste adds great flavor.
