This is superb. Very flavorful, makes a massaman curry identical to your favorite Thai restaurant. Not spicy at all which makes it work for everybody and us spice lovers can just add cayenne to our serving, or finely dice a serrano chili and add to the paste when you bloom it to get to a moderate spice level for the entire pot.

No need to make your curry from scratch with this around. For a packaged product, we find it excellent… And we make Massaman often. Compare to your favorite takeout/restaurant.

By no means am I an expert on this topic, but my husband and I have been making curry with Thai Kitchen curry pastes for a couple of years, and this was a serious step up from that. So fragrant and delicious. We will be buying more, but our one complaint is that it does not have any spice. Not a real problem though, as we can add peppers to our veggie base to get it where we want it.

This is what they use in my local Thai restaurant, and I enjoy everything about the place except the prices. So I got some, and a good recipe, and made a darn good copy! Unlike a lot of canned curry paste, it's not overly salty.

I moved away from the big city to a small one and we just don't have all the restaurants we crave. My Asian food cookbook is great too, but our local grocery stores dont really sell all ingredients needed. Found this sauce base on Amazon, added a couple more ingredients, and it tastes exactly like what we remember from the Thai restaurants! Delish!

We love curry, but after trying the red & yellow curry pastes called for in recipes, we discovered we are too wimpy for most Thai curry pastes. After doing some research I ordered this one, and it is the solution for us. It's hot, but not too hot, and works in the recipes that call for hotter versions too.

I really like this curry paste. It makes it so easy to get that proper Massaman flavour at home without having to hunt down loads of individual spices. The smell alone when it hits the pan is incredible. It’s rich and warm, not too spicy, and has that slightly sweet, nutty depth that makes Massaman so comforting. I’ve used it with beef and chicken and both turned out really good — the sauce just thickens up beautifully and tastes like something you’d order from a Thai restaurant. You only need a small amount too, so the jar lasts ages, which is handy. It’s become one of those pantry staples I keep going back to because it makes dinner feel like less effort but still really satisfying. I was upset happy to find it on Amazon at such a great price!

Aucune Saveur comparé au massaman de la marque Cock mais deux fois plus cher, donc je comprends pourquoi maintenant. J'ai même remis une cuillère à soupe à revenir dans une poêle avec un peu de lait de coco pour mélanger à nouveau, rien y fait, aucun goût.
