Its SmartSet Programming Engine allows seamless, software-free customization with onboard macro support. Compact yet powerful, it optimizes hand positioning and workflow for professionals seeking comfort and efficiency. ## Description Product Description A Kinesis product, the Advantage2 Keyboard is a UK Layout black USB connected contoured keyboard based on a unique, patented design that minimises the pain and strain typists experience from heavy use of conventional computer keyboards. Box Contains 1x Kinesis Advantage2 UK keyboard ## Features - ✅ [ Reduce Typing Muscle Stress ] Concave keywells are scooped into a bowl shape to reduce hand and finger extension and relax muscles. Separating the keywells positions the arms at shoulder-width to keep wrists straight and perpendicular to the home row to reduce abduction and ulnar deviation. - ✅ [ A Natural Typing Position ] The keys are arranged in vertical columns (rather than staggered) to better reflect the natural motion of your fingers. The two keywells are “tented” at an optimal 20 degree angle moderately raising the thumb side of the hand. Tenting puts you in a more neutral, “handshake” posture and reduces the stresses caused by forearm pronation. - ✅ [ Convenience In Mind ] The integrated palm supports reduce stressful bending of the wrists and provide a convenient place to rest your hands when you are not actively typing. Self-adhesive, cushioned palm pads (included) can be attached for maximum comfort. The thumb clusters include frequently-used keys such as Enter, Space, Backspace, and Delete to redistribute the workload away from your relatively weaker and overused little fingers to stronger thumbs. The Advantage2 may look big, but it actually has a smaller footprint than most keyboards because we eliminated the numeric 10-key so you can place the mouse closer to your body, reducing painful “over-reach”. - ✅ [ Tactile Key Switches ] The Advantage2 (KB600 model) utilizes the Cherry MX Brown stem low-force tactile key switches. “Tactility” is a slightly elevated force around the midpoint of the stroke of the key which lets you know the switch is about to be activated. A tactile response is preferred by many ergonomists, because it cues your fingers that activation is about to occur and can reduce the frequency of “bottoming out” the switch with a hard impact. - ✅ [ SmartSet Programming Engine ] Allows you to customize the keyboard’s layout without installing any clunky software or special drivers. Works on all major operating systems and enables users to easily create, view, edit, share, and backup their custom layouts. Dual-Layer layouts with secondary actions embedded in the “Keypad” layer. One-touch, onboard key remapping so you can customize the layout to suit your typing style and preferences. Heavy-duty, on-the-fly macros up to 300 characters long. Choose from 9 playback speeds and add timing delays to ensure proper playback. All settings are saved to the keyboard’s 4MB flash memory. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07GT6VN25 | | Antenna Location | Office | | Best Sellers Rank | 105,537 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 1,600 in Keyboards (Computers & Accessories) | | Box Contents | Self-adhesive cushioned palm pads | | Brand Name | Kinesis | | Button Quantity | 9 | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | PC | | Compatible Operating System Family | Windows | | Connectivity Technology | usb-a, USB | | Customer Reviews | 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars (14) | | Enclosure Material | Aluminium or reinforced plastic | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 10.5L x 21.7W x 4.7H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Kinesis Advantage2 UK Keyboard | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Keyboard Description | English Keyboard | | Keyboard Layout | QWERTY | | Manufacturer | Kinesis | | Manufacturer Part Number | KIN-ADV2WUSB | | Mechanical Keyboard Switch Model | Cherry MX Brown | | Model Name | Kinesis Advantage2 | | Model Number | KB600-UK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Keys | 9 | | Number of Sections | 1 | | Power Source | Wired | | Product Features | Ergonomic | | Product Warranty | 12 months | | Style Name | UK QWERTY - Tactile Feel | | Switch Type | Tactile | | Theme | Ergonomics | | UPC | 607998600061 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kinesis - **Colour:** Black - **Compatible devices:** PC - **Connectivity technology:** usb-a, USB - **Keyboard description:** English Keyboard - **Material:** Aluminium or reinforced plastic - **Product dimensions:** 10.5L x 21.7W x 4.7H centimetres - **Recommended uses for product:** Office - **Special feature:** Ergonomic - **Style:** UK QWERTY - Tactile Feel ## Images ![Kinesis KB600-UK Advantage2 Keyboard - Contoured Ergonomic UK Layout Keyboard Equipped with Cherry MX Brown Mechanical Key Switches and The SmartSet Programming Engine - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61xKkI21LgL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I take a glove size 7 (eu) - so i'm guessing that's mid-range and ok?** A: Yes, it seems to be designed for medium hands -- or maybe slightly larger, seeing as the thumb clusters seem best for larger hands. But it can work for most sizes as the layout is easily customizable. **Q: Can I customise the (# and $) buttons on the US keyboard to match a UK keyboard (£ and $)? Asking as the UK keyboard is a lot cheaper!** A: Yes, you can easily customise any button (except the Program button I believe.) The keyboard has an user-friendly app which lets you simply select the desired key and enter the key you want to replace it with. And it allows you to save multiple layouts and bind them to shortcuts, so you could for example switch back and forth between a US and a UK layout by pressing (Program + 1) and (Program + 2) or Program + whichever number/letter you wish to use. **Q: Do you also offer the same 60-day risk-free trial as offered by Kinesis?** A: It allows you to assign any key position to any key, so yes you could. **Q: Can you change the qwerty over to dvorak on all versions? it comes in different versions, why if they’re interchangeable.** A: You should be able to switch every key (except Program) on all versions. The layout you buy is simply cosmetic - if you're touch-typing it shouldn't really matter. I am using qwerty keyboard with almost every key switched and it's fine (except when other people try to use the keyboard). ## Frequently Bought Together - Kinesis KB600-UK Advantage2 Keyboard - Contoured Ergonomic UK Layout Keyboard Equipped with Cherry MX Brown Mechanical Key Switches and The SmartSet Programming Engine - Black - Ergonomic mouse Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 Right Regular, Black, Grey/Silver, Medium/Large, VM4R - KINESIS Advantage360 Palm Pads - Magnetic | Cushioned Foam | Washable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/77915081-kinesis-kb600-uk-advantage2-keyboard-contoured-ergonomic-uk-layout-keyboard](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/77915081-kinesis-kb600-uk-advantage2-keyboard-contoured-ergonomic-uk-layout-keyboard) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
