For semiconductor and the physics behind it, Donald Neamen has his own style. A very much thorough presentation of facts along with superb examples and clear diagrams is a perk for getting this book. A must have collection for grads and postgrads alongwith Boylestad for electronics.

Nice book for long term studies
If someone self studying for GATE or ESE then this book not meant for them instead of this batter to follow Boylstad. But if you are in university and you you have ample amount of time to study for exams or for competitive exams then it's a must have book. Theory explained beautiful along with numerical and a must have book.

Book on excellent condition but missing the CD-ROM
I purchased the book for its contents in electronics not found on current technical books anymore. Unfortunately the original CD-ROM is missing but maybe I will have a chance to find it to download somewhere. The content value in knowledge is gold nowadays.
