DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! I absolutely love this adorable little trash can! Please note that it is TINY, very very small. But that is what I was looking for, so I’m super happy. The off white/cream color is so soft and pretty; suits my decor perfectly. I was worried the foot opening mechanism wouldn’t work properly due to its size but it functions really well. The metal is sturdy but light and it has a removable interior bucket with a lid that makes it very easy to clean! Because it is so small, I can just lift the bucket out and clean it in the sink!! Fantastic purchase!

Perfect bedroom size! Cute and worth the price!! ● You can take out the actual can part, it's like a plastic bucket with a handle. (🪣) ● Handles on the sides makes it portable. ● The pedal at the bottom is not hard to use, it makes the lid open fast but close slowly so no annoying noise! ● Taking the bucket (🪣) out shows you that the inside and bottom is an open design, so you can't throw trash in there and expect it to be clean. ● Color is exact as shown and described, one of my favorite retro diner colors. ● I have carpet and it stays in it's spot pretty good whenever I accidently kick it; it's sturdy.

We use this STEP CAN for our compost! Now, I know the folks who designed and merchandised this intended it to be for trash. But we have it in the kitchen for compost. There is a sturdy inner plastic liner with a bail handle. So far it is working great. The whole idea that you need to use a hand to open your compost keeper when you've got gooey stuff in your hand, like a piece of rotten fruit, or salmonella eggshells, or what have you, was not well thought out. So we got this STEP CAN and now we can toss things into the compost keeper without using our hands. It HOLDS A LOT, I mean, for a compost keeper. We've been doing this now for about a month; no rust yet. But if it does rust well, it's our fault because it was never meant for kitchen scraps and wet paper towels! It is not small, not a tiny little thing, but we wanted a compost keeper that was a step can and one where we did not need to bend over. SO, 100%. Seems very well made and sturdy. It's a nice light cream color, vaguely retro something. Very happy.

This trashcan is adorable and looks amazing in our seaside-themed bathroom! Although small, it usually holds a week's worth of bathroom trash for my husband and I, with some room to spare. However, it is quite lightweight and moves across the floor easily when you step on the pedal. Even backed up against a wall, it can move sideways (so if you have a tight corner to wedge it, that would be best). As such, my husband tends to just lift the lid by hand. Not a huge issue as my husband doesn't mind and the trashcan pedal still works - it just takes a bit of practice to figure out the angle/pressure to exert in order to use the pedal by foot without moving the trashcan. However, I should note that this is more easily done if your foot isn't HUGE. The combination of the trashcan being lightweight and the pedal being very small is what makes it very difficult for my husband to open it with his size 13 feet. It's almost comical to watch him try to do it if he has his house slippers on. I have size 6.5 feet and don't have many issues. Overall, despite this minor problem, we are very pleased with it, and it serves our bathroom well. EDIT: We've had it for 2 years now, and it's still holding up well and going strong!

It’s so cute! It’s small and is actually metal, I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s still holding up strong. The bucket inside is nice for removing trash easily too. All around a great small trash can

I love punny and weird things that are still able to be used in a practical way. This is exactly that! I love that it's a mini trash can-trash can. It works so well for us in the bathroom. I love the foot lever too. Super cute. I wanted something with a lid to block sight and smell and it seems to block smell pretty well.

Cute color and functional! I have it outside storing bird seed and the squirrels promptly chewed through the latch and destroyed it, but the can with the lid resting on top is still in tact. So I wouldn't recommend it for my use case, but I don't think it's really advertised as something that would hold up against determined squirrels so still five stars!

I love these trash cans! I bought them for my bathrooms and I am so pleased! They’re larger then the typical bathroom trash can so I don’t have to empty as often. I also like the swiveling handle that allows me to lift the inner can out to dump it as well! The step works great and the lid soft closes on its own too! The color is exactly as pictured in the advertisement as well. All in all, I highly recommend this and would absolutely buy it again!
