Survival Hacks
F**Y
Alright book, but more for URBAN survival and there are better ones out there.
I quite like this book - it gives some quite inventive tips. Most of the ideas use everyday items in inventive ways, which is interesting. HOWEVER, it should change the word 'wilderness' for 'urban' survival. If you are in a 'survival' situation you need to use the items you have at hand; who in 'the wilderness' will have access to a flower pot for example?! So, a nice book for survival tips, but pitched wrong. It also feels a bit short and one dimensional only talking about the 'what' rather than the 'how'.If you want a PROPER book on survival in just about any situation then I strongly recommend you get SAS Survival Handbook: The Definitive Survival Guide instead. That is the survival bible. SAS Survival Handbook: The Definitive Survival Guide

Good tips but very few pics
The book is quite simple to follow with plenty of good tips but very few actual photographs which would have made them more memorable, instead it is nearly all simple line drawings

Mind blowing!
This book not only shows a lot of hacks I'd never seen, in spite of being a Google junkie, but as I read through, I could feel my mind waking up and thinking of even more hacks.Well written and fast moving too. Thanks!
