Motor Trend Frost Guard

This product ROCKS!! I agree with one of the posters who talked about the two settings. I use the setting he recommend b/c it works best for me as well. It stays higher up and leaves some open area at the bottom of the window. To prevent wind from blowing it up which the wind will do... I have purchased an adjustable bungie cord and I pull in the two sides of the cords that go over each window. Then while in my car I pull them in and connect them with the bungie cold and the wind doesn't blow it out!! Works great!!

I bought two of these: one for a 2013 VW Jetta and one for a 2004 Saturn Vue. It fits them both perfectly, isn't blown off by 20 mile an hour wind, and (most importantly) keeps the frost off of my windshield. Still have to scrape the side mirrors and windows... but they are simple compared to that beast of a windshield.

does not cover entire windshield from top to bottom of Explorer it was bought for.

it looks like a great product but it just didn't fit. Too short and too narrow for the truck windshield.

I really like this product, but I have two problems with it. My first problem is that my mirrors are set pretty high so there are couple of inches of windshield exposed. I did not take a star off for this reason, but anyone getting this product should run a string from the bottom of your mirror to see what will be covered. My second problem and the reason why I selected 4 stars is that, while the snow was kept off my windshield, the FrostGuard froze to my whildshield which was harded to to remove then the snow would be. I am not sure if there was a way to prevent this, but if there was I would give it 5 stars. Overall great product that saved me a lot of time during the last couple of snowfalls, but caused some delay during one of them where it froze to the windshild. Would still recommend this to anyone parking outside.

This product should not be sold. It doesn't work...at least in cold weather! It froze to my windshield; the elastic straps froze to the mirror arms. I live in a windy area so I pulled some of the elastic into the window and closed the windows. The windows froze shut so I couldn't remove the elastic. I was NOT a happy camper!

Finally, a windshield cover that COVERS an SVU windshield and easy to work with. Fits right over the side-view mirrors & lifts right off, regardless of how much snow or ice.

They have made removing snow from my car much easier this winter! I will efinitely use this for many years to come. The tridk is to wrap the long elastic supports around your mirrors so that if its windy it stays put, otherwise, GOLD STAR on this product
