I’m absolutely thrilled with this perfect pedometer. It’s easy! Open up and use! I love the colors and I love that I can put it in my pocket. It’s light and tracks perfectly. I’ve had watch pedometers that are heavy and a pain. This is absolutely terrific and a reasonable price! If you want to track your steps, this is the easiest one by far. You can clip it on or wear around your neck also, they supply a cord.

I bought this because my Oura ring and my treadmill didn’t seem to be quite accurate about my steps. I wear it clipped to my waistband or pocket, and I love it. It also comes with a lanyard attachment, but I’ve never used that, so I can’t vouch for its accuracy when worn there. Sometimes old school tech is better! It’s very portable, easy to wear, secure when clipped, has a more accurate step count than any modern wearable I’ve tried, and isn’t very expensive. You can’t beat it!

I bought this in December 2022 so I could start monitoring my steps. I refused to spend hundreds of dollars for a glorified watch to do this. I clip it to my belt or my shorts and it was durable so that even though it fell off or I dropped it a couple of times, it never stopped working. However, recently, in late November I began noticing my daily step counts were dropping even though it seemed I was doing the same amount of walking as before. A couple of days ago I noticed specifically that the step numbers were not changing sometimes when I walked across my apartment. The instruction manual says the battery " lasts up to 12 months", so I guessed this was a sign that the battery was running out. I replaced the battery yesterday with am Amazon Basics battery. However, I monitored last night on two different occasions, that the unit was not counting steps when I walked outside or in my apartment. I don't know if this is problem with the specific battery or the unit itself. I purchased a spare Fitbud last January "just in case" so I would not be high and dry if the unit stopped working. I opened this and mothballed the original unit. It is now halfway through the next day and the new one is operating perfectly. I will say that for less than $25, I will not be too heart broken if I have to buy a new one every year. For the cost, I rate this overall as a 4 Star Plus.

This pedometer is worth every penny. You can wear it with the included clip or simply slide it out and slip it into your pocket.It is incredibly accurate. I compared it to Google Fit on my phone, and this standalone device is far superior. If you want a reliable tracker that just works, I highly recommend this one!

My spouse & I recently decided to abandon our Fitbit Zip devices -- too many battery & software problems lately. This pedometer is a perfect replacement. It's VERY easy to operate. It counts steps accurately, is easy to zero-out each morning & there are several convenient choices for carrying it. The battery shuts off when not in use for counting steps, so there is no wasted battery energy searching for bluetooth. We each got to select a fun color but the battery closure is different, apparently due to a model change. My battery compartment opens with a coin, my spouse's requires a small Phillips head screwdriver. It's the luck of the draw which you'll receive, I guess!

I’ve been using this step counter for a couple of weeks now. I didn’t want anything fancy—just something simple to track my steps—and this does the job well. I did read that it needs about 10 steps before it starts counting, but I’ve noticed it sometimes takes a bit more than that to register, so it can be slightly inconsistent at times. That said, it’s still a great reminder to get up and move more throughout the day. It’s simple to use, lightweight, and helps keep me motivated to walk more overall. For the price and simplicity, I’m very happy with this product.

Review update: This was a great little tool for a few months, then it became less and less accurate. The whole point of a step counter is to motivate one to take more steps. It's not very motivating to walk until you're sore and still see a disappointingly low number. Too late to return it ... Really disappointing. All I wanted was a simple tool to count my steps. ALL my steps, including walking in place while I'm waiting for a horse trough to fill or washing dishes, walking fast or slow, taking short or long strides. That is exactly what the FitBud does. As far as I can tell it's accurate; at any rate, it's consistent. It may count the occasional extra step when I'm driving, especially a manual; and it didn't count well when attached to my bra strap (what can I say? I have big boobs that cushion the impact of my steps!) But it clips securely to a belt loop and never falls off, and it doesn't look weird or get in the way. I'm really very happy with this affordable, useful tool that's already helping me to challenge myself to go a little further every day.

I was satisfied with for years with my Fitbit inspire until Google bought them and started demanding to snoop on my data to combine with everything else that they collect. This alternative device just counts steps, period. No Bluetooth phone app. Yay. Can we keep just a little bit of Flocking privacy? Inexpensive. Simple to setup and start using. The big display is easier on older eyes. As for accuracy, it counted about 30% more steps on a familiar route than my Fitbit. But no way to tell which is more accurate. Manually counting small samples of 10-30 steps, it was about right. However, it did not seem to work when wearing on the lanyard. The main thing for me is comparing this device's step counts against itself from day to day. Other reviewers reported the clip eventually breaks. I removed mine and just carried in a front pocket. But if you do that, be careful if removing something else from the pocket. When I did that, it accidentally came out and bounced on the cement. Luckily it kept working, but I doubt the plastic will endure that too many times.

Accurate step count. Bigger display. Easy to use. Will buy again for my parents.
