Review: Used this to finish mortar joints in newly laid brick wall - This tool works great. After the mortar sets up a bit, you do the vertical joints first, then the horizontal joints. You set the height of the nail head the appropriate depth. Just make sure to clean it thoroughly after each use. I watched a British tutorial on this and the presenter didn't know which end to use. If done correctly you don't need to use a jointer following this.

Reliably well made, though you’ll probably have to grab a 16 penny if you’re looking to rake back more than a 1/4”. Aside from that it’s solid as can be.
