As the Regaine leaflet says, it WILL take at least three months to notice any difference, so don't give up too soon as it really, really works. And it's not just wishful thinking on my part, either. In the last few weeks, since passing that 3 month barrier, friends have spontaneously started to comment on how much better my hair is looking without knowing what I've been doing to achieve it. Interestingly and unexpectedly, as someone who had distinctly greying hair a short while ago, the new growth has also appeared in my original shade, so my hair looks younger as well as fuller! Didn't see THAT one coming!! Set aside the rosemary oil - for ladies in the perimenopause it doesn't work - and reach for the minoxidil instead.

Method of application: spray into bottle cap, using a cotton bud, i “soak” some of the foam onto the bud and apply between sections of hair, direct onto scalpUpdate : i have updated photos on progress. As you can see, volume of hair has increased. And my problem area is much fuller. I no longer feel as self conscious about my hair. I have started on the second can, about 2 weeks in. I do not notice any abnormal growth of hair on anywhere other than where i have applied the foam. If any, it is not noticeable to me. I have diligently applied the foam to problem areas once a day since i purchased this and will continue to do so. Will come back to update again when i’ve finished the second can.Original : Progress is slow but it works. My problem area is the front (hairline), where it has thinned down quite a bit over the last year possibly due to age/hormones (I presumed since i am at that age). Been using this a month and i see a ton of new growth and can feel more volume. Very promising compared to so many other products that i have tried over longer periods. It seems expensive, But considering my problem area isn’t too big, i use the recommended 1/2 (slightly lesser) cap of foam everyday, its been a month ++ and i’m still on the first can and the can is still fairly weighty. It works out to be cheap in the long run. I’ve been using Regaine since September (5 months) and after years of continuous hair loss, I finally found something that works!! My dermatologist recommended it for telogen effluvium, and although I was skeptical, daily use has significantly reduced my hair loss and I have a lot more new hair growing.I only apply it to the front of my scalp, sometimes skipping the back because I am lazy, yet I still see a noticeable difference. It can make hair feel slightly dirty, but it dries quickly. I’m not sure if I’ll need to use it forever, but I’m happy to have found something effective! I definitely recommend it BUT, it may not work for everyone, so consult a doctor first.

So, I didn't actually think this would work. I have been using this since September and the difference is unbelievable.I have always had thin hair, everybody in my family does. It has been getting progressively worse now I am in my 30's to the extent that I catch people looking at my scalp when they are talking to me.I went out for dinner with my friends recently (They did not know i had been using Regaine), and they all couldn't believe it. They couldn't believe it was my hair.I know this sounds ridiculous, and if you suffer from hair loss like me then you will think that this is some kind of false advertising, but I promise you.. I am real. I am a real person, and this really has worked in just 4.5 months.Tips:*I never miss a day.*I always use latex gloves*I finely part sections of my hair and run the bottle along the skin of my scalp (So it doesn't go all over my hair) and then i massage it in).*I plait my hair every night*I sleep on a silk pillowcase now (So my hair doesn't break)*I only wash my hair once-a-weekDyeing hair: My biggest question was about "HOW DO I DYE MY HAIR"?Tip: When you wash your hair once a week. Wash it and dry it before bed and leave your hair Regaine free for the night.
