I'm glad I searched on the Internet and watched a YouTube video of a man hooking these up on some 6X9 JBL speakers for his 2016 Jeep Patriot. I was able to connect my Rockford Fosgate R169X3 6X9 speakers correctly with these because someone who owned the vehicle before I did spliced and connected speaker wire to the same factory wiring which consist of the factory harness. Anyway, I am glad I purchased these even though Amazon states that this does not fit my vehicle.
