Jans Milk Chewy Candy (Matcha, 4 x 4 oz)

Finding anything that tastes like matcha except actual matcha is just about impossible. I’ve tried so many types of candies and none of them really give that flavor. With the exception of these. It’s robust and gives me that flavor I love in a candy that I have been looking for. If you are trying to find a candy that actually taste like Matcha because you love it as much as I do let me save you an expense, this so far is the only one that tastes like Matcha that I have ever found.

There are about 41 candies per package. I can taste the matcha very clearly. It's a bit tough at first and you have to soften it up before chewing (I just leave it in my mouth for few seconds). It reminds me of white rabbit candies but with a creamy matcha edge.

The texture is like chewy caramel candies, and honestly tastes more caramel to me, since the first ingredient is sugar anyway. It's not a strong matcha flavor, and very confused as to why "matcha extract (1%)" and "Nature Identical matcha flavor" are the ingredients instead of actual matcha. It also has milk powder as the third listed ingredient, for anyone who has a dairy allergy (which is not listed on the back but very light in gold on the front). It is what I would expect for the price, but would have liked more transparency in the product description.

These are sooooo good for any Matcha green tea lover like me. They are addicting as well. I buy the 4 pack which is a great price and the bags are fully filled. They pretty much melt in your mouth. They are not too hard to chew either. Remember addicting! Thank you.

I could use with a little large size otherwise it's perfect. I carry 3-4 with me all the time while I biking, hiking or at the gym. I don't carry it at the office because I would just eat them all. Nice part is that no one in my family like the taste so I don't have to share.

Taste great. They’re soft and chewy. I always run out because they’re a big hit. The flavor is a strong matcha-vanilla.

I’m so glad I ordered these. The flavor is a bit unique and I really like it. I’m surprised at how milky they are but the tea flavor that comes through is really nice.

I previously had found some matcha milk hard candy that I liked, and while looking for it here saw these and figured I would give them a try. I love that they have a bit of a chewy texture and the flavor is great; not overly sweet and not too early. Just a nice balance. If you imagine a Tootsie Roll Midgie that is the color of matcha, that's the form and texture of these candies. A little more pricey than I would normally spend for candy.
