Review: A great scope for a fair price. - The scope was delivered quickly. I ordered this scope for my AR-15, because I had a friend who owned a Redfield scope and swore by it. The reviews I read, gave it good marks, and it was made in the USA. The scope optics are very clear. The eye relief seems good. I ordered the Revolution TAC-MOA version, because I like the hand adjustable open turrets, and I will mostly be target shooting. Not a fan of sighting in with a screw driver. If you plan to do serious brush and woodland hunting, you might want to consider the capped turret, Revolution scopes. I mounted the scope with twin AccuShot Premium 1-Inch Weaver Style See-Thru High-Pro Rings, and mounted those on a UTG 1-inch riser, this to clear my front fixed sight on my M4. So far I have only used the scope one time, and a short time at that, because the target range was closing. Put the scope on at the target range, fired at a 12" metal 100 yard target, hit it on first shot. Fired at two paper targets at 100 yards, 1st target all in the black, 2nd target two bull eyes, all with out making any adjustments. I am looking forward to getting back to the range to try some farther ranged targets. I will update my review after I have used the scope more. Review: Great scope for the money - Great scope for the money! Ordered this for my AR and works great. I ordered the Butler Creek scope covers #13 for the eye piece and #25 for the objective. Size 25 was pretty tight so you could easily do 26. The scope is very clear and perfect for a longer range AR build. Any questions just ask. Cheers Update 11/26/14: I have now gotten this optic sighted in and have got to say it is a great optic. I use it on a 20in barrel AR15 build. Reticle works perfect and is fine enough to give you a good view of the target. This optic is completely worth the money and will 100% be running more Redfield optics on future build. Cheers

Nice scope for the money, very small imperfection.
Really nice scope for the money. I wanted a scope that had a ranging reticle but I also didn't want one with massive "tactical" knobs or the near-ubiquitous mil-dot reticle, which in my opinion is nearly useless due to complicating calculations and adjustment (for countries using imperial measurements.) A simple quick MOA reticle like this is the way to go for me. Glass is great, although I have a very small speck of something at the very bottom edge of the sight picture, appears to be a machining error like a bit of metal sticking out. Doesn't cause me any issues though. Has held up to 200 rounds of 308 and another 200 of 5.56.

Focus Issues
Received the scope on time with great anticipation considering the reviews it had garnered. Scope looked great, I mounted and took to the range for zero and target shooting. Much to my dismay, the scope appeared to be slightly out of focus. It was usable, but the edges of the target and any letters I could see were blurry at all magnifications and distances. I verified by looking through a comparable Burris scope, which was perfectly in focus. So, long story short, I returned the scope under warranty to Redfield / Leupold service, who kept it 6 weeks only to return it with documentation of no problems being found. I double checked the focus again, and it the same problem remains. The scope has been returned to Amazon. Twice disappointed, one for initial quality, one for questionable service. Maybe this scopes passes Redfield QA for the price range, but I have cheaper scopes that outperform it in terms of focus. Kudos to Amazon for their return policy.
