This is the second book in the God Gave us series we have purchased for our child.The story is a great one between a grandpa and young cub about how we are to love others and how God also loves us even more. Great story about love, faith and the perfect love of God who gave us His son.Pros: great story, colorful pictures.cons: the story at one point goes from grandpa cub talking about families to suddenly they are having a group family hug with little cubs parents, which causes the story to not flow well at that one point.

Absolutely love the whole series! Delightful in content & artwork! Am thrilled to find these in this excellent board book format for younger ones, besides the hardcovers for older children. Hopefully they will do more of the series in boardbooks, as well.

I like this book a lot. Actually, I bought most of the series. Biblically sound. My children (3 and 5) like the story and I like what the story teaches.

Very cute. Describes different kinds of love; such as the love between mother & father; parents & children. It also shows understanding in that people are imperfect & can sometimes bother us, making us "love them, but not like them" at times, without teaching kids that that is okay. Great way of showing how God's love is perfect.

The God Gave Us series are such beautiful stories. We purchase these books as gifts to little ones.

Great little intro for the kids. We got them for our grandson. We just wanted to introduce him to the concept to give him choices. if he asks questions...fine. If e doesn't...that's fine too. We just wanted to give him options

Little ones always enjoy stories that makes them feel good and explain the religious concepts they are being introduced to in a simple way. This book, with cardboard pages, is well illustrated and easy to understand. It arrived in good shape and well packaged.

great story for kids and adults alike

I believe it is important to have books that introduce children to the God who created and loves them at an early age, and these writers do it well. Their books make great baby shower gifts.
