I've had eczema my whole life, and keeping it under control is a daily struggle. I've tried a whole host of cremes and ointments, both prescription and non-prescription, but nothing has really done the trick. I now apply this ointment several times a day to my problem areas, and it really helps keep the itching and flaking to a minimum. Smaller, less-severe patches have disappeared completely, some as quickly as within a couple of weeks.The only caveats: First, it stings horribly if it gets into your eyes, so be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after applying. This listing description tricks you by listing the original formula of ingredients before the drastic change of ingredients to the Sulfur Butter Creme n Ointment product. This product is no longer 10% Sulfur and in fact you don't know how little sulfur in this product now because the bottle doesn't tell you and sulfur is now listed after a ton of crappy filler chemicals just to fill up the jar/bucket. Charge more and bring back the quality product you once had! Normally with a change to the ingredients of a product the product states "NEW FORMULA" or "IMPROVED FORMULA" to give you a warning that it will not be the same. People still want quality when it comes to their health and beauty. It apparently got significantly reformulated and is not the same quality at all. Mine arrived completely separated into the dry crumbly part and the liquid oily part. No matter how much I tried to mix them back together they stayed separated. Not fun at all dealing with it. The dry part doesn't want to spread and the oily part is disgusting. I sent an email to the manufacturer inquiring about this unsightly and unsavory separation and got no response. They did respond to my question about the percentage of sulfur (the jar used to say "10% sulfur but it does not any more!). I was told that it is still "about 10%". I guess it is fine although not completely satisfying. I don't think I will be buying it any more.
