It is easy to put up, my wife and I did it in about 30 minutes the first time closely following the directions in our backyard. Why put a tent this size up in your backyard you ask? We'll get to that in a minute. Anyway, it took about 30 minutes to put up and when we had it up, we sprayed it with Atsko Silicone Water-Guard 10.5 oz . Yes, I know it's supposed to be water repellent but if you don't coat your tent with something you're an idiot. Just do it and stop whining. It took two cans to thoroughly treat the tent and rain fly. Drop those in your cart as well. Prime. It's a wonderful thing. Anyway, we took the thing camping and it was great. Yes, it has a power port. The room divider is nice, it's split with a zipper down the middle so you can tuck it out of the way. There are little tabs to hang lights from. We used a iRainy 60 LED Portable Outdoor Indoor Camping Lantern With Lampshade Circle Tent Light Campsite Hanging Lamp For Outdoor Camping/Hiking/ Mounting/Reading/Hunting/Fishing hung in the center and it did a fantastic job, adequately lighting the tent without being obnoxious. The doors are great, easy to open and close, the main door has velcro that is outstanding for the "In and out" during the day and then zip it up at night. I'm not sure what some folks' major malfunction is that are complaining about the zippers. They're tent zippers. Don't yank on 'em like a gorilla and they will do fine. Over the course of four days, not one of our zippers bound up. Not even once. The one thing you will want to do is order up a couple sets of Coleman 9-In. Heavy Duty Aluminum Tent Stakes . The stakes that come with the tent don't really amount to much more than a good idea, but that is the way most tents come. Now, a lot of folks have complained that this thing barely fits back in the provided bag. Not so. When we packed ours up we fit the tent (With the fly and the two useless little "Foot mats"), an 11' X 23' tarp for a ground cloth, all of our tent stakes and a 4 lb hand sledge. It fits. Pay attention, think about it a bit and it'll go just fine. We folded along it's long axis in thirds and then folded it just shorter than the length of the bag and it popped right in. As far as setup and takedown go, it is a snap. The first time took us about 30 minutes, the second time took about 15. Takedown is just as simple. When we broke camp, my wife took it down by herself in about 15 minutes and when when we got home she set it up herself in about 10 minutes. BAM! DONE! All in all this is a fantastic tent and is worth every penny you pay for it. Buy it now, and thank me later.
Review: Easy to set up, great quality in wind. - I loved this tent so much that I bought two! It’s really sturdy! See the last photos of our old tent. It was 8 years old and it held up against everything and finally 60+ mph straight line winds took it down. Despite missing its rain guard and a few snapped poles, the tent itself held up really well. We were so happy with all the years we got out of it and finally got another one and I had to go with the same one. It is really easy to set up, 2 people took 20/30 minutes or so and the size is great. We got a queen sized air mattress in it at one point with end tables and had room to spare. There is also a spot to hang a lantern up if we need and I loved that the door is hinged, it makes it so easy to go in and out. The floor is waterproof and has a coating that comes up the sides and the only time we had water in it was the night of the wind storm. It rained while we were setting it back up and it started down pouring as soon as we got it up. We slept in the truck that night and the liner is so good that we could have swam in it. We’ve never had water inside the tent Before and that just shows how great the waterproofing was. It kept the water out and once the water was in, it didn’t leave because the liner was that good. I can see myself years down the road buying my third. I love this tent.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: When used with the room separator, is the rear door a separate enterance?**
A: Yes.  When the room divider is in place it divides the tent exactly in half right down the middle in line with the center support pole.  If entering the tent through the front door (the hinged door) with the divider in place, you will enter the right side of the tent.  If you enter through the rear door (which is not hinged), you will enter the opposite side of the tent.  Each door opens to the opposite side of the center support pole. Hope this helps.

**Q: can i hang a light on the center of the tent??**
A: Yes there is a ring in mine. but don't depend on it 100%.  There are descrepenies on accessories depending on where you buy it. Our room dividers came no where fitting.  The small vent (looks like a doggy door) was not consistently part of the tent as others have found out.  The tent has performed flawlessly and I do recommend spraying moisture repellant and applying seam sealer after you get it and annually for a bit of inexpensive insurance.

**Q: Does it have a port for an electrical cord?**
A: I don't what you would mean by a port but there is a zippered slot for sliding the electrical cord inside or outside the tent.

**Q: Is this a instant setup tent**
A: No it is not an instant tent.  It requires some steps and some work but it is doable by "most" people.  I am a 5'4" female in my 30s and I did it on my own with a little help from my 5 year old.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for the strong prairie winds

In buying a new tent for our family, I needed 4 things: 1. large enough to fit at least 5-7 people comfortably 2. Adult-sized ceiling height (wife's request) 3. Holds up well in the predictably windy conditions where we normally camps. 4. Tub bottom to stop flooding during the rain. This tent meets all 3 perfectly. While it was pricier than I had hoped to spend, I've been very happy with the quality. At a group camp out recently, another guy with a similar sized and shaped tent said that while he likes his, he wishes his poles were as strong as ours. All that quality does weigh a lot. While not impossible to carry from the car to campsite, it's heavy enough that my 9 year old struggles to walk far with it. Likely not ideal if you have to schlep it very far to your campsite without a wagon. It does take at least 2 people to get it up (hopefully not a problem if you're setting up a tent that can sleep 10 easy), but it is much easier to set up than I expected. Mainly, you need another person to stabilize the legs/roof poles while you're raising it. My 9 and 6 year olds had no problem helping me do that. The whole tent took about 8 minutes to set up on our first trip with it, so I expect we'll get better at pitching it with more use. Rain fly is sturdy and easy to get on and off, and it covers the larger mesh ventilation panels in the ceiling and sides. The side windows all zip shut too, which I really like. I would have preferred to see it come all the way down to the ground since this is a 4 season tent. Not a deal breaker, but where we camp the rain typically comes in at an angle with the wind, so side coverage is often just as important as ceiling coverage. It does come with the standard plastic stakes, but I used my own metal ones. Would have been nice to have studier pegs included since it's literally meant to stand up in worse weather, but better pegs are relatively cheap. Haven't been able to test it in the rain yet, but have no concerns it should do just fine. Will update this review if that proves wrong
