What recording time is possible on each disk?

It depends entirely on the quality and speed of recording that you choose on your BluRay Disc recorder. High Definition gives faster speed and highest quality of recording but also less space. Even then you can comfortably fit 5-6 movies on a disc in HD mode. If you go for normal speed and lower quality like SP ,LP or EP you can get up to 40 hours but then defeats the purpose of having a Blu-ray recorder. Hope this helps

Will these work on panasonic dmr-bwt850 eb ?

I’m pretty confident they will, Ceri. I’ve used almost 60 -70 of these blank Verbatim Blu-ray Discs successfully on my Panasonic DMR-BWT735 which is a slightly older version of the BD recorder you have. Not a single coaster so far! The "BD" means the media is a Blue Ray disc, e.g. different specification standard from traditional DVD's. The "-R" is the type of disc, the same way as DVD+R and DVD-R indicates, as with DVD's. its the "-R" version i use, as it tends to be accepted by more external players if not used exclusively on your extant PC.
