If you want a powerful DAW I would say Cubase has a lot to offer for music junkies. If you're doing voice overs like me, it's not gonna be something you probably will be able to use without a few tutorials. I uninstalled it. I'm familiar with Fruity Loops and various animation and video editing programs and this seemed like a different universe to me. The UR-12 works great tho! Plug n play on windows! Just download the drivers and firmware before you plug it in. If you do,then just unplug and reinstall! The lights can keep me up at night but I just flip the power switch off on the back.
