Impressive bright work that everyone notices.
Best Varnish results after 39 years with a different brand. Slow curing means more open time to maintain a wet edge. Heavy bodied and thins easily. I poured quart from fresh can into Stop Loss bag also on Amazon. No skimming from opened cans Stop Loss Bag removes air so no straining required. Expect super high gloss after 7 sanded between coats.

Toughest stuff for weather protection.
I sealed my re-built 1947 Chevy Fleetmaster Woodie with this sealer and it is holding up great. Put down seven coats of the stuff. Great to work with.

Thick gloss finish
Wow...seems much better than any other varnish I've used. 100x better than that thin minwax you buy at the hardware store. Thin the first coat when starting and then you can leave it thicker. Wow, I really hope it lasts...but looks absolutely beautiful (it better for the price!)

Best available for outside exposure
I have wood rails on my boat docks that are exposed to sunshine, rain, snow, and bird poop. This is the best varnish available, beats the socks off Minwax and similar spar varnishes sold at the big box stores. It comes really thick in the can, so I thin it just a little bit with DMVP naptha, but still apply it thick. Goes on like pancake syrup. Have to keep a wet edge and brush it out as you go along. Takes a long time to dry. Temperature needs to be 60 degrees or warmer. But when you finish you get a glass shiny gloss finish that will last the whole year outside in the weather. It is the only varnish that I use now that I have discovered it! After it drys, you can lightly sand with 220 grit (300 works better) sandpaper, then apply a second coat. Put on a new coat every fall and it will look great all the way through the winter. Touch up again in the spring.

Great quality, must thin to use
Great quality, used with epifanes thinning schedule, 50% first coat, 75% second coat, 5-0% subsequent coats. First coat went on very thick/heavy (but not because it was thinned. Just let it soak)with foam brushes
