This set has been perfect. It even came in handy to wear under clothing when we had our big Louisiana snowstorm! It is just warm enough for our climate without being too warm and he seems really comfortable in it. My son is quite small for a 12 year old, but the sizing seemed to be true to size. A youth small is just a bit too small for him, but he wears a medium t-shirt comfortably and that's what we ordered for this set (medium). The length of pants and sleeves are perfect and nothing seems to sag or pull.
