What happened to the chocolate layer for the peppermint bark flavor? I just bought a dozen. No chocolate. I feel misled.

Yah, I had the same letdown when I excitedly tore into my 12 pack of Peppermint Bark - ers. Even picturing the layer right on the box. Perhaps the chocolate layer is in transit, stuck in a backlog of transport vehicles, waiting to be unloaded. Sigh, another casualty of the Great Supply Chain Crisis of 2021.

Is the peppermint bark tough to chew or soft?

Hi, the Peppermint bark Quest bar is fairly soft to chew on. Not as soft as a marshmallow, but still fairly soft. However, I think that over time (perhaps a month or two), they start to get more chewy. I had that experience with originally soft energy bars from Costco that over time got very hard. Bottom line, eat them within roughly a month and you should be good. Hope that helps.
