Great sleeves
I've been using these compression sleeves for a little over a month now, and I really like them. I have one other pair, from Zensah, to compare them to. I think these are a little tighter (in a good way) than the Zensah pair (in which I got a size small/medium). I have these in a small for my 14" calves, and I like the amount of compression they provide. They are long, like other reviewers have said. I'm 5'5" and I don't find them too long for me, but they are longer than my other pair. After several hours of wear, I start to feel the bottom back seams, but it's time to take them off by then anyway, so it hasn't bothered me.Regarding performance, I definitely have found that they provide support and help prevent shin splints during my workouts that involve lots of jumping, and I get fewer calf cramps after said workouts when I wear these during and for an hour or two after. The way they're knit lets my legs breathe a bit more than the Zensah sleeves, which is great when you're hot and sweaty. I was a bit worried about how thin they were when I first got them, thinking they might not be compressive enough, but it's not an issue. I've been machine washing and air drying and so far, they've maintained their compression. The design looks cool on, too. So far, very happy with these sleeves and I would buy again.

Buying More -- Super Wonderful
Very good quality, comfortable, very tight.I'm 5'3-4", my leg measurement from the top of my outside ankle bone to the area just under my knee is 13", my calf is about 14.25" diameter and the area right at my ankle is 7.75" and just above that, the lower part of my leg is 9.75", which graduates up to 14.25" at the calf and maintains swelling up to my knee. Been this way for years; activity and hot temperatures exacerbate it. I had purchased the Zenzha brand a few years ago small/medium and they just didn't seem to be effective enough to bother with them every day. But these Thirty48 Small are wonderful. They are very tight and hard to get on compared to the Zenzha's but so worth it. My legs feel alive and do not hurt during hikes, or just by the end of the day. The swelling is kept to a minimum and I'm hoping that the improvement in circulation will help reduce the fluid over time. My husband suggested that I wear them at night. I grabbed the Zensah ones last night as they are lighter, and this morning I noticed less of a bulge at the base of my legs. It seems the Thirty48 are a bit more geared to a wider range of sizes in that they offer specifically a small size -- also the pair has a right and a left indicator label on the inside, they also list the measurement of compression but I could not tell what compression the small is. I hope this review is helpful.

Nice Quality - fit well and worked like I expected
I play basketball, in my 50's need to take care of my legs/ keep muscles warm. I pulled a calf muscle last year. Once back on the court I used the neoprene McDavid calf support/warmer. Been playing more than ever, felt great and no injuries. Coincidentally despite and catching some flack from friends, I am starting to see more guys, many much younger, wearing calf support (including NBA). It works.ANYWAY- the neoprene is good for recovery but overkill and too hot/sweaty for regular use.I bought the Adidas (white), and SKINS (black). I like the Adidas, ran true to size and comfortable but still snug, good support and much less sweaty as neoprene. I am 6'4",16.5in/42 cm calf, I ordered the correct size and The SKINS were WAY too tight and thin material. I returned them and bought these. Medium said up to 43cm but only 15-16"? I couldn't see myself in a MED, so I bought Large/Black, they seem to fit well, they are long too! some have less length/coverage, nice looking material and cosmetics.I play again tonight- see if I change from 4 to 5 stars, update to follow...UPDATE- played last night- these worked very well, stayed in place. great quality, snug support but VERY comfortable.

Shinsplints? What shinsplints? Accelerated recovery at a reasonable price.
No stranger to overtraining injuries, that I had never experienced shin splints before probably meant I was past due for this kind of ailment. Sure enough, I woke one morning after consecutive quality run/fast walking workouts to a painful right shin. No worries, I thought. A couple days rest, and I'll be back in business. Not a chance. In fact, being a classroom teacher, and on my feet all day, this seemed to exacerbate the situation and stall my recovery. And neither frequent icing nor the Ibuprofen regime my GP put me on even made a dent in the pain or hastened the healing. After just two weeks of this, I was getting desperate. So, subsequent research offered evidence that some runners, like myself, had benefitted from wearing compression sleeves on their calves. I was skeptical, but felt like it was at least worth a try. I looked for sleeves that were well made, with a fairly high degree of compression (based on reviews) and chose the Thrity48 Cp Compression Sleeves. I had low expectations (yes, that skeptical), but being desperate for a remedy, and feeling like the price of admission was reasonable, I ordered a pair.I wore the sleeves to school the next day and by lunch, my shin actually felt BETTER. And by the day's end, instead of the nagging pain, I was experiencing only moderate irritation; a far cry from what the previous two weeks had been like. I decided to wear the sleeves to bed that night with the rationale that if a little treatment was good, a lot would be even better. In hindsight, I'm not sure that made a huge difference, but at that point, I felt like I was turning a corner in getting back to running. At the very least, I found them comfortable enough to not disrupt my sleep.Long story short, after wearing them for five days, I was on the treadmill for 20 minute run/walk intervals by the weekend. This continued for another week with three subsequent and more demanding workouts (distance/time). By yesterday, I was back on the road again with my first "real" quality run in more than three weeks. My shin felt great during the run and, though I have the expected day after mild irritation, that's what the Ibuprofen is for, right? ;)At any rate, these sleeves are well-made, comfortable, and most importantly, hastened my recovery from shin splints and put me back on the road and running again.Yeah, YMMV, but you might want to get some.

Nice fit and look great
Nice fit and look great. Wear for running (mainly 5k to 1/2 marathons).Still not convinced whether these types of support do anything but I’ve had less niggles while wearing them so will stick with them.
