The picture here doesn't do them justice. I love the blue color and will be purchasing a second matching set soon. I haven't used the coffee cups yet because I have a favorite cup I always use, but they seem sturdy enough. The plates and bowls are very well made, just be somewhat careful as they seem like they could chip easily. I have had these over a month and no chips yet and I have 3 kids who can be a little rough at times. I did break one of the smaller plates, it was my fault though I was carrying to much and it fell. The bowls are perfect size for soup, cereal or a salad. The bowls are also perfect size for my 6 and 8 year old to hold easily. I have used some in the microwave and they will heat up after awhile, so as long as you aren't microwaving over 4-5 minutes (this is just a guess) they won't be to hot, of course check before pulling them out so you don't get burned, and use oven mitts if they are to hot. Overall these are a great set of plates in a beautiful blue color, I highly recommend them and will be purchasing a second set in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, practical Dinnerware on a budget *by L***R on October 16, 2024* These dishes are for everyday use. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Perfect sizes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great everyday dishes *by L***R on January 28, 2021* I love these dishes and they were just what I was looking for. The color is very pretty. I bought 2 sets in 2 different colors, the blue and the grey, to add a nice look to the dinner table. The main selling point on these for me was the size of the bowls. They are great! We quickly realized that if you fill these bowls you will more than fill your stomach! The mugs are a nice size but not super-size which is fine since we mostly use insulated cups for coffee, etc. The plates are the perfect size and have enough of a lip around them to keep your food from sliding off. There are small imperfections in the color but that adds to the charm.
