The cooling performance is excellent and helps keep my phone at a much lower temperature during long gaming sessions. Game without the cooler, phone burns 1% battery a minute, phone gets hot 1/3 to 1/2 its length radiating outward. Game with cooler, same battery consumption but the phone temp did not change. You can’t use a case though. The entire operating principle is that it sinks heat directly from contact with your phone and dissipates it with a fan. Build quality is good, I like the hard switch for on and off and the always wired hookup. It does not run off a battery- and you wouldn’t want it to, because it’s very energy hungry. I ran it with a 6ft usbC to a tablet charging block and it handled the power fine.

Ce refroidisseur tient toutes ses promesses, voire plus. Je l'utilise sur plusieurs téléphones portables lorsque je filme, par exemple, un concert : le téléphone est donc soumis à une charge maximale pendant une longue période. Cela provoque généralement des problèmes de surchauffe au bout d'une dizaine de minutes. Mais avec ce refroidisseur, ce n'est plus du tout le cas ! La température du processeur reste parfaitement basse. Un produit fantastique !
