D-Arts : Izanagi

I'm a huge fan of the Persona series, particularly Persona 4, and I'd say that this figure would be a great buy for just about anyone who wants something unique to display. I remember when Persona 4 was still young and I wanted to have a figure iteration of it immediately, but it took a great deal of time for someone to take up interest.I gotta say...my favorite part about this persona is his unique appearance. Since it's a persona, the designers wanted to create something abstract, and they nailed it right on. A combat blade naginata? Those funky Japanese-styled stilt shoes? (sorry, i dunno what they're actually called) Belt-headband? Awesome mask? What is that zipper-thing by its crotch...?It just screams Persona...something that comes from the mind, and usually isn't usually shown outside of it. ...I'm getting carried away, heh.The articulation is great, considering that most of these toys are made to be displayed in multiple ways. The blue flame pieces are an interesting attachment, though I do not use the one that attaches to the blade because it is rather heavy, compared to the rest of the toy.Persona 4 may be rated M...but I suppose kids could have fun with this too, but I don't know if you would buy this if you weren't looking to collect.Great price, too. I know most other prices aren't much different, but for these toys, i think 40 bucks is actually quite fair. I am still eying those PVC statuettes that they have for Asian anime/games, but they run for a lot more, making these figures worthy substitutes for their price....also, I don't know about the "educational value" of these products (figures in general) but I really want my impression to reflect how I feel, regardless of how it is able to "teach" someone. It's a display figure, it doesn't have an educational value...Anyway, great build, great price, great design, great fun. That is the point of a figure, yes?Seriously, I even got two. XD

I'm really a big fan of Persona, and Izanagi is one of the coolest characters, so I was so excited to get this, however...When I got it out of the box, its head was shaking and the left arm fell off, I managed to attach the arm, but it falls off easily!Also, when I tried to check out the head, it split into two parts, I spent over half an hour trying to attach them, they're just too small, so why the heck did they make it split into two! it should've been one single part, it's not like there are any extra faces or something of the sort!I really don't know what's the cause of this, because it seems like I'm the only one here who had such a problem!Anyway, the figure looks so cool, but mine is kinda messed up.

Looks great, very poseable, high quality. He's on the small side, though for the price. Demand drives the price on these guys up, so I wouldn't say it's worth it unless you're a huge P4 fan like me. Right now they're selling for about twice what they did originally, so be warned.Other than the steep price, it's a great figure and one of my favorites in my collection.

The Izanagi figure is the first collector's item I have ever purchased and I must day, I am deeply impressed and now understand went people would spend a little extra for a top quality item. The figure looks exactly like the persona in Persona 4 (admittedly, I never got the chance to play it but have recently bought Persona 3 on the Playstation store and instantly feel in love) and am glad that I now own one. It is a lot smaller than I expected, however. Next it's Thanatos!

He's an awesome addition to my game shrine, and is straight out of Persona 4! He's a bit small, as all the figures of the line are, but the best, most detailed, poseable version available. I also used the elemental fx parts on my Izanagi no Okami, which is a cool plus that this figure comes with two blue energy parts.

Good quality. Came on time joints are a little loose but works fine. I can still pull off some cool poses.

Arrived earlier than scheduled. Both Izanagi & Izanagi No Okami were packaged securely. Great collectible figures and my nephew was so over the moon to receive this! Thank you.

いわずとしれた『ペルソナ４』の主人公の固有ペルソナ。ゲームでは速攻で二軍入りですがこのD-Artsではジオダインクラスの存在感！　ポージングの自由度は高くオプションなどでさらに迫力あるイザナギを完全再現。これで『P4A』のイザナギの威厳を取り戻せる！（笑）　ただジョイントが柔らかい部分がありますのでそこは工夫次第ですね。ショウケースなどに入れない場合は埃掃除などをこまめに。　あと動くはちがねが可愛いです。ぴょんぴょん。

元々事故ナギ2回作り直すくらいには好きなペルソナだったのですが、P4Aの12話が良い販促回だったのでホイホイ購入。やっぱりカッコイイです。可動範囲も見た目より広く、肩やコート部などは軟質素材ですので、(限度はありますが)あまりポージングの妨げになることは無いと思います。塗り分けも、個体差はあるでしょうが、うちに届いたものはコートの金具や金の縁取り、指先などの細かい部分も問題なく、綺麗に仕上がっていました。専用台座にエフェクトパーツの見栄えも良く、飾って眺めるには良いフィギュアだと思います。事故狙いの、完成後のACマラソン時の、モチベーション維持用に如何でしょうか(笑)で、ここからが不満点。首、手首の保持力が無さ過ぎる！頭はハチマキの重さに負けてしまい、放っておくと天を仰ぐような格好になってしまう。顎引きはヒロイックなポーズの基本なので、コレはかなり痛い。襟をハチマキの支えにしてやれば顎引きが出来ないこともないのだが、それでは風に、動きに従ってたなびくハチマキが再現出来ない。あのカッコイイ、ブレイブザッパー時の十握剣フルスイングモーションの再現が！・・・このフィギュアでは厳しいんですよ！手首も常にプラプラしていて、エフェクトパーツ無しでも剣を保持しきれていない。エフェクトパーツ付なら言わずもがな。保持力さえ良ければ文句無しだったのですが、やはり私もガシガシ動かしてナンボのアクションフィギュアだと思うので、残念ですがこの評価とさせて頂きます。

D-Artsなるものを初めて購入しましたが、同じバンダイさんのS.H.Figuartsに比べてディティールが甘いです。頭部、襟、ホック、裾、鉢巻等、シャープさに欠けます。軟質素材を使っているからでしょうか？　とは言え、もう少し頑張ってもらいたかったところ。また、鉢巻の取り付け部のジョイントが完全に後頭部から浮き上がっており、見栄えが悪いです。さらに、個体差があるでしょうが、金色部分の塗装にはみ出し、塗り残しがあり、雑です。プロポーションは細身でバランスもいいと思うんですが……これから購入される方は、店頭で実物を見て判断されることをお勧めします。

ペルソナのアニメをみて購入を決めました。出来は悪くなく、塗装もなかなかなのですがいかんせん首が緩くハチマキに重さで負けてしまいます 全体的に緩いのが残念で"多少"動くアクションフィギュアと考えるなら良い出来です タナトスからは緩さは改善してもらいたいです
