Step by step instructions are on-line. If you are handy, you can do it. The battery fit perfectly(has replacement adhesive and new glass for the front). The phone stays charged as good as when the phone was new (iphone 6). This battery has only been installed for two weeks so hopefully it lasts a while. As the directions say, WATCH Youtube, and pick several tutorials to view. You may pick up different hints from each.I gave it five stars for ease of install but you have to follow a good tutorial!UPDATE: Unfortunately, after four months of perfect operation the battery began to swell and put pressure on the screen. I instantly tried to return to battery thinking it was defected and contacted them through Amazon and a customer service rep. They got back to me immediately saying for me to charge the battery first a bit before installing it and if it still didn't work to return it. I followed their directions and it worked - and a bonus was they are allowing me to keep the replacement battery they sent me!
