OTC Cervical Collar, Soft Contour Foam, Neck Support Brace, White Average 3" Depth, X-Large

I tweaked my neck a few weeks back and have had a lot of pain and headaches resulting. My chiropractor mentioned a soft neck brace like this might go a long way towards helping me recover and I'm already so happy I made this purchase!This foam collar isn't going to give the kind of support needed for a major injury, but for my needs it is perfect. It gives just enough support to take some of the extra pressure off muscles that are working hard to heal up. The little dip for the chin also helps keep my head at the right angle instead of pushing it too high upward - it's overall a pretty comfy fit.I wore it for several hours while working my desk job that is particularly hard on my neck. Even when leaning forward, I can feel the brace taking some of the weight and it's a good reminder to correct my posture. I did also manage to fall asleep with it at night, but woke up with it next to me on my night stand, so apparently at some point in the night I yanked it off. Still, I felt much better after even that first day/night of intermittent use, so I'll keep it in my recovery regimen!

Per the instructions on measuring my neck i was 1/2" smaller than the dimensions for a small ... so again, per instructions I ordered a "small" and you guessed it, it was too small. It is also NOT returnable so I need to find someone with a small neck that needs a brace. I have since ordered and received the next size larger (medium) and it works fine. Good brace for the money.

Helps a lot to correct my neck posture and helps with neck pain. I was told to get a neck brace a few years ago and this helps so much when my neck is strained. I’m able to keep my neck up straight when reading or doing tasks like cleaning. This is washable and helps. Provides a lot of neck support and the size is adjustable. I have been so happy because this helps so much with my neck pain and posture.

I bought this because I need a neck collar due to neck issues. I wanted black and it looked comfortable. When I received it and tried it on...it was not very comfortable for me. It's a nice collar but not right for me. I thought it was returnable..all or most are..but not this one. It's odd because this item was obviously returned before because the plastic bag was unsealed. Maybe it because it was returned for a different size and that was allowed.Beware this item it not returnable if it isn't comfortable for you. How would you know unless you try it on?

I've been wearing one of these overnight for years and years. They were getting harder to find until people started selling them on Amazon, because specialty medical supply stores are sparse and their prices way high. I always keep a couple in stock at home, they do wear out eventually, with the velcro fastening and need to wash occasionally. If you need these then this is a good place to pick them up.

Works great

It's a cervical collar, and it's white with velcro tabs to close it around the neck. However the velcro piece used to close the collar is very short and it's difficult to comfortably close this collar so that you can breathe. If that piece was 1.5 inches longer it would have been perfect.
