MARMOT Women's Montreal Mid-Thigh Length Down Puffer Coat

There is a soft inner lining of polartech-like material that is present around the collar, shoulders as well lining the pockets.. Pretty easy to zip up and I stayed dry bundled up in a snowstorm but can’t testify to how watertight it would be.. Still, it’s a great mid-length puffer that is both practical and fashionable.. I have a 42 DD bust and bought the extra large- It’s a snug but appropriate fit… Very happy with it..

Living in Wisconsin, Marmot has been my go to, to keep me warm. I currently own 5 Marmot coats - Pinecrest (navy), 2 of the Varma (black and storm), Ithaca (steel) and this one the Montreal (black). The Pinecrest is a 600 down count and the rest are all 700 down counts. All of them keep me warm and dry.My one and only complaint with Marmot, is sizing. For reference, I am 5'2" and weigh 152lbs, with a 36DDD chest. For me to be comfortable wearing a sweater (thin or thick) and a regular sweatshirt, I had to size up to an XL. The XL was the only one that fit my chest, without being tight when wearing a sweater or sweatshirt.Currently, I am 12lbs heaver than I normally am (recovering from a ankle and heel fracture, which has prevented me from running for the last year), but even when I was 12lbs lighter, I still had to wear the XL for it to fit over my chest without being tight.

5'4 135lbs 36D ordered an XL---Fit perfect to me. Kept me warm in 16+ degrees of snow. Never felt cold during hours of hikes and walking. Recommend!

I have been looking for a knee length super warm coat, with fleece lining in vest area. The length is perfect, the fit is perfect, enough room for a sweater. I ordered a size up due to the other reviews, this is accurate. Could not be happier.

This is a really nice coat. The lining is minky soft. The sleeves aren’t to tight for a layer underneath. I’m 5’6 and usually a size 12 and love the fit of the XL.Because of the Aline style with no internal waist cinch cord I need a puffy vest layer for core warmth on the super cold days. The hood is a bit big as in too deep, which is great if there’s weather coming down on your head but makes it hard to see peripherally. I may try to rig a clip in back or something.This is the nicest most expensive coat I’ve ever bought myself and I think it’ll keep me warm in winter for many years. I definitely recommend it.

Beautifully made jacket, runs small.

The fit is very small, I am a size 10 but have a large bust I always buy large tops , this coat was very nice, very warm great quality, not for a woman with ANY kind of shape. I had to send it back. Could not comfortably zip it past my bust. I feared for that zippers life :).

I love this jacket and get a lot of compliments. It is nice and warm for a Vancouver, BC winter. It also does ok in the rain and has fuzzy pockets and liner.
