Examining the leather carefully, I couldn't find any scratch nor scars. The workmanship is consistently clean and even. The matching color number 5 nylon zippers open and close smoothly. The interior of the bag is fully lined with a lighter color, possibly nylon lining, embossed with self color Solo logo pattern, done in a classy way. The backside of the bag is made with matching color heavy duty (possibly) polyester material. I think this actually makes the bag stronger and less heavy than leather. The first 3 compartments are completely functional. The frontal side pocket is good for small items, plane tickets, boarding pass, etc. I must say these pockets can be designed better and be made with better details and workmanship (It is made more like a suitcase than a computer bag).The smaller compartment has simple pockets for pen and pocket notebooks. My computer is heavy, so it works out perfect putting it in the back compartment, otherwise, putting it in the front laptop compartment, because of it's weight, it would fall over, unless you had heavy files in the back compartment.
