GABRIALLALight Support Pregnancy Belly Band, MS-14

This is my first pregnancy and I had no idea that the heaviness of my uterus would cause pain in my groin and inner thighs. The support this belt provides helps me get through most days with little to no discomfort. For the most part it stays hidden under my clothes (though occasionally I realize I need to pull my shirt down a little so the belt doesn't show).There are two main drawbacks that I've noticed. One is that the velcro is obnoxiously loud when I have to take the belt off, so it's a little embarrassing when I'm in a public bathroom. The other drawback is that the back of the belt doesn't stay flat, it folds down on itself. It doesn't really affect anything; I would just prefer it keep its shape. Neither of these negatives is that big of a deal. It's still a worthy product.

it good for pregnancy

I purchased this support for my wife who was in her 35th week of pregnancy, as international shipping, we were in a hurry, it arrived within 4 days. First my wife was not sure if it is going to help, however after 2 days she told me that it was of great support to her back and abdomen, it helped carrying some weight and reduce the attacks of back aches and muscle cramps.

Good for light support. Does it's job, but tends to roll down. I was using this to wear at work when I would stand for long periods of time. By the time I would remove the belt, it would look pretty mangled. I have since moved up to a stronger support built now that my baby bump is getting bigger.

When during the pregnancy almost everything irritates you, this belt makes things worse!Why not soft material?

I am 5' 2" weigh 162lb at 26 weeks. I ordered XL.Works great for a little support during the day. This is nice for light activities around the house. Soft enough to sit in. I love having the extra support.The band has three ways to adjust the fit. I have mine adjusted to be a bit smaller - could probably have gotten away with an L. But, I am not sure how much bigger I will get - didn't want to have to get a second, bigger one. The ability to adjust this one makes it just perfect.If I am going out longer or expect to be more active I use the medium weight support band - it has really good back support.

Didn't really use it. i wasn't really able to. i feel like it was too narrow to help at the end when i actually needed it. i probably just purchased the wrong one since it does say light support. Was hoping for "some" support.

Does not support like you think it should. To loose when you wrap it around your stomach area.
