Tritonaudio FetHead - Studio Preamplifier

Great product and absolutely the thing I needed to complete my XLR setup. I'm using a Behringer XM8500 microphone with this and a digital compressor and it sounds like a £300+ microphone, even when connected to a cheaper UMC22 audio interface. Also once plugged into the microphone, it doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would and isn't too heavy which is great. This is the most expensive part of my audio setup and I do not regret it at all. For anyone worried about the negative reviews saying it doesn't work, it does require phantom power which most audio interfaces provide, but few people remember to turn on.

Works as intended, seems pretty durable. Quality is pretty good. It does the job and increases the audio of the microphone. Pretty clear no noticeable gain effects. Easy to use, plug and play.

Definitely worth the money

Works an absolute treat with my SM7b going into Apollo twin. Silent recording, no noise floor hiss.

Requires phantom power. Otherwise good.

I bought this to go with my shure mv7x as at first without this connector I had the issue of it being way too quiet unless gain was close to max and as soon as I researched around and they said I needed a pre-amp so i went on here looking for them and this is one of the first ones I seen which looked solid enough on the pictures. setup was very simple just plug it into the microphone and done and the results of my first test afterwards was quite a difference I only had the gain up to halfway mark and the sound quality was nice with no deviations. overall it seemed like an expensive addition but a few months later and no issues with the same quality sound.

Great product, well worth it

I've got this and I've also got the Behringer knock-off product so I've been able to compare them. I'm no audafile, but I prefer the recordings I make with this thing over the Behringer alternative.

Je ne connaissais pas ... et maintenant que j'ai vu le résultat, je ne peux plus m'en passer. Cela ne prend pas de place et est tout petit et surtout tout léger Qualité excellente sur mes micros (puissance, clarté et précision). Je rappelle quand même qu'il faut que votre micro soit sur un excellent amplificateur. Sur ce, je vais en acheter d'autres.

Serve la phantom a 48v , splendido e super potente. Nessun rumore di sottofondo. Finalmente un prodotto veramente valido.

es un excelente dispositivo para microfonos dinamicos. lo recomiendo al 100%. el unico problema de comprarlo, es el tiempo de espera. se tarda hasta 4 semanas en llegar. pero valae la pena.
