The hardware specs are ace for the money, especially with 32gb of ddr5 ram and that ryzen 7 8845hs. It looks like aluminium, but the body is actually plastic but it’s nice size and lightweight. As a standalone device, it handles office work silently. For gaming, if you’re relying solely on the integrated graphics for latest titles, you have to drop the settings and fiddle with a few bits. You’ll need to turn off fsr and upscaling if you want to play in 2k, but at 1080p, the upscaling does the job well enough. Even framegen adds a bit of a boost.Anyway, I’ve paired this with an rtx5080 on a minisforum deg2 dock via the oculink port, and it’s a totally different beast. I knew exactly what I was doing, becasue that was the plan from the start. Fair play to Minisforum for including the oculink adapter in the box, even if it means sacrificing one m.2 slot. Offloading the heavy graphics tasks externally gives the pc some breathing room, so the internal fans aren't screaming - they are actually silent and there’s zero overheating during long sessions. I can play my fav games, right now I’m on star wars outlaws and I'm getting 280-300fps easy on maxed out settings at 2k. Reliability has been a highlight so far - in my daily-non-stop use it has proven itself as a stable daily driver that boots with ease, even when experimenting with alternative operating systems like bazzite or zorinOS. Connectivity is another strong suit, we got here a usb4 , dual 2.5G ethernet, hdmi2.1/ DP 1.4, thats allows versatile multi-monitor setup. I know that for the price of this pc plus the egpu and dock, I could’ve just bought a gaming desktop, but it’s much easier to replace a mini-pc in the future than it is to sell a whole desktop tower (good luck with that!) Plus, I actually quite like the messy, modular look of my gear, so I’m happy. If you want a silent little machine with plenty of ports that transforms into a gaming beast with to usb4 and oculink, this is the right bit of kit to get. Recommended.

Small size PC, the build quality is mostly plastic and it feels a bit lightweight on the desk, but it stays stationary enough once all the cables are plugged in. Under the hood, the hardware specs are ace. you get 32gb of ddr5 ram and a 1tb pcie 4.0 ssd, which handles 4k video edits in Premiere and heavy multitasking with no drama at all. In my use as a video workstation, the fan is dead silent, easily the quietest bit of kit I’ve used, especially compared to the beelink I had before. To do some quick upgrades (I chucked in an extra m.2 ssd for my workflow), I had to peel off the rubber feet to get to the screws. It was a bit of a faff, but they’ve included spares in the box, which nice.Performance and speed wise it’s fair play for gaming. The radeon 780m hits a solid 70-76fps on tomb raider at 1080p. Obviously, it’s not going to replace a proper gaming rig for latest titles at ultra settings lets be serious, but it can certainly hold its own against a ps4 or even a ps5 if you’re that way inclined. The oculink port is definitely a good to have for future-proofing, though you do have to sacrifice one of the two m.2 slots to use it. It has hdmi + DP so two monitors connectivity, no probs. At the end of the day, for the money, it’s a versatile, punchy little machine. I’m happy enough to give it a 5/5. Thanks!
