FREDI was fun and while it certainly nods to 70’s and 80’s sci-fi pop films it does do judiciously taking its own turns. It pays as much homage to E.T. As it does Frankenstein in the true sense of Sci-Fi... how are we responsible for the things we create and how friendship is formed in the mist of unusual circumstances. A family film with heart. Recommended family viewing with a great score.

I liked the good acting, simple but effective story, playful tone, clean language. The girl-robot is so smart and adorable that you wish you could have one like that. Of course I liked the fact that it was filmed locally, in Northwest Arkansas.

Really fun - great looking robot! So tired of every robot looking like every other one in every other movie. And it's REAL!Fun story - hope there's a sequel!

A GREAT FAMILY MOVIE THAT IS PLAINLY WORTH A PRICE OF ONE THEATER TICKET~ THIS INDEPENDENT FILM WENT STRAIGHT TO DVD NOT ALL GOOD FILMS MAKE THE THEATER NOWADAYS! GET A FEW FOR XMAS GIFTS A GREAT FIND STARRING TYLER CHRISTOPHER OF GH FAME.

This was a really fun movie to watch ! The cinematography and directing are great . Really enjoyed the young actors that are in it.And I want a F.R.E.D.I. ! If you have kids or just a kid at heart you will enjoy this movie .

Very family friendly. The grandkids loved it and are hoping for a sequel!

I truly did not like this movie. The dialogues were dry n did not feel natural.

Cute and lightweight fun. We, seniors, enjoyed it. It's not easy to find good clean entertainment. This fits the bill.

AGAIN I THINK KIDS AGE FROM 7 - 75 WILL ENJOY THIS DVD AS I DID AT MY AGE OF 71.
