Does anyone know why bottle have warning label in State of CA? My research only finds other brands with shady factory practice...

It's because of CA Prop 65. You can read more about it here: http://oehha.ca.gov/prop65/p65faq.html.

I don't know, but the first bottles I bought in AK were in Chinese and my daughter got more for me in a Chinese store in Maine. I actually suffered so much from my allergies I really did not care. I have taken many pills, RX and OTC since 1950. When an Israeli suggested Bi Yan Pian in 1996 I jumped at the chance and never turned back. Now many years later I don't take any med for my allergies. I always told my PCP what I was taking and there were no problems. try it!

You should be able to see the ingredients and Google/search about any of them.

Can these be crushed?

Yes. But you would probably need a mortar and pestle or put them in a nut grinder.
