Mehron Makeup Metallic Powder with Mixing Liquid - LAVENDER

Worked amazingly! And covered my arms and neck/face with just a tiny bit. Goes a long way, stays on well, washes off easily.

I am as far from a makeup artist as a person can get. This makeup is beyond forgiving - it's idiot-proof. You have to mix powder with liquid fixative, then apply with a brush. If you don't get the proportions just so, you're okay - it'll work fine. It goes on as easily as anything you can paint. You could probably use sponges or fingers. The coverage is pretty opaque straightaway, but if your mix was a bit thin, don't worry, because it's buildable and you can keep painting until you reach solid coverage. Guess how I know. Also, a little goes a LONG way. I'll be able to get a dozen Halloween costumes out of one little package. Once this stuff dries, it REALLY stays put, but it washes off easily with soap and water or facial towels. Unless you're planning to wear this to a car wash, it will NOT come off before you mean it to. Here's how I know how good this stuff is: It was mixed and applied by my half-drunk brother who has never done anything makeup-related in his life (he's an artist though and did a nice job since it's hard for me to paint my own face). It was applied over light foundation, without washing my face, all around my eyes, forehead, and nose - all the really greasy, sweaty bits of my face. I also put it on my lips. I tend to touch my face and lick my lips a lot. As soon as it dried, we went to see a live staging of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I had a few drinks. I moved around and sweated a lot. I got damp from squirt gun fire. I fully expected the makeup to have worn off or smudged or cracked or streaked somewhat, but it didn't - not even on my lips. Everything looked exactly like it did when applied. I was flabbergasted. When we got home, I wiped my face down with some Costco-brand face towelettes, and it came right off like it knew its work was done. It was easier to remove than regular old eyeshadow. Two towelettes, and you'd never have known I'd worn it. This stuff is amazing. Get it. Use it. Sparkle!

*please watch the video all the way through* What kind of magic is in this product!!? Got the silver & gold. I am TOO impressed. Dried down super light and doesn't transfer. Even with water it was NOT budging (end of video I posted). The color is soooo reflective. And a little goes a loooong way. With a tap of the powder and mixture I probably could’ve painted my hands and face. It’s ridiculous!!! Great product for SFX artists, actors who use paint, etc.

I had heard, but never tried, the trick of mixing these metallic powders with mixing liquid to get a liquid makeup. I'd used both components, individually...and I was working on a production of The Wizard of Oz and needed an option for the Tin Man that would go on fast, not sweat off easily, and come off fast (since he has to change back into one of the farm hands.) So I decided to give this a shot...I was a little nervous because most other metallic makeups I've tried have clogged my airbrush pretty quickly, but I figured it was worth the risk. It's EVERYTHING I wanted. Since you're mixing the powder with the liquid, you control how much pigment (and, therefore, how rapidly and thoroughly it covers) us is in your makeup. It airbrushes beautifully, haven't had a single problem with clogging (just make sure you shake your blend thoroughly before spraying as the pigment separates pretty rapidly by comparison to most other products I've tried.) It was a little stubborn with baby wipes, but I got some cosmetic wipes and it comes off quite readily with those. In spite of having, hands-down, the heaviest and most uncomfortable costume in the show, I've not yet had a single problem with the actor sweating off his makeup. Immensely pleased, I'll be using this concoction again in the future!

Well, it does what it says - you'll be gold, baby. I used this to cover my face, neck, legs, and forearms for a robot costume. If you put it on carelessly, the appearance can be streaky and watch out for the places that rub or aren't covered well --- it oxidizes! My feet and hands oxidized showing some greenish tint similar to wearing really cheap jewelry. The product otherwise is great. It doesn't crack, your skin can breathe, and I wore it for over 12 hours with out any issues of it flaking or budging. Would definitely buy it again.

HOLY. CRAP. Mehron customer for life is all I have to say! My friend used this product a couple years ago to paint my models fingers for a fashion show, and for a convention this month I decided to take the plunge and get some for the extra metallic look I wanted. I wore it for roughly 7 hours to parties and it didn't budge, but I wasn't really sweating or anything, but I was drinking and it stayed! You barely have to use any of it to get incredibly beautiful and pigmented color. The mixing liquid is alcohol based, so it will start to evaporate if you let it sit, but just mix little tiny bits at a time and you'll be just fine. Also WAY easier to get off than any of my other gold makeup. GET IT.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this makeup is. I wore it on my face, chest and hands. It didn't budge (especially after using the Mehron Barrier Spray), and it looked fantastic all night. After wearing it for two events, I recommend using the mixing liquid sparingly - too much and it starts flaking off much faster. I can't tell you the exact proportions, because I just guessed. I also read that patting is the best method of application, but I can say that it depends on the area. Patting worked perfectly on my face, but horribly on my chest and hands. I recommend swiping it on larger areas. Highly recommended and a million times better than any cream makeup. I love this for the same reason I make my own fake blood from school glue - it dries, and you don't have to worry about it getting all over everything. I can't wait to figure out a use for it next Halloween.

I am in no way a makeup professional but i used this for Halloween and I went to a very hot very sweaty place, danced the night away and this did not budge, smudge or crack!! I used the mixing liquid and applied with a small paintbrush. I applied about three layers, had zero irritation and was easily able to add my eyeshadow and liner on top. Must buy!!!

This stuff works great. I have very sensitive skin and I had no issues using it on my face. I also wear contacts and again had no problem. Eyeshadow will not stick to this stuff so you will need a good primer as a base. I recommend not wearing it outside on extremely hot days around your eyes though as it may drip into your eyes and cause irritation (had this problem at a recent convention while in my costume).

Oder aus einem besonders sexy Fantasy-Film 🎭🪐 ABER: Der Boden... Der gute Boden. Wenn man nicht aufpasst, sieht’s aus wie ein explodiertes Glitzer-Einhorn war zu Besuch. Also Handtuch drunter, oder du bist für immer „die mit dem Schimmerparkett“. Fazit: Ich liebe es. Meine Kunst liebt es. Mein Fußboden… redet nicht mehr mit mir. When used correctly this product is everything and all that you need to transform a person into a gold statue. powder can be mixed with water also if you run out of the solution. The powder goes such a long way and is SO PIGMENTED! CANT RECOMMENDED IT ENOUGH. No other product compares in my opinion.
