The plant is said to possess scars on the rhizome that resemble the ancient Hebrew seal of King Solomon. Unbranched leaf stalks of one to several feet in length, with simple, alternate leaves and parallel veins. In May, clusters of small white-green flowers droop from the stalks and later produce small blue berries. If dug up, the scars resembling Solomon’s Seal may be visible on the nodes between sections of rhizomes. Historically, the Native Americans consumed the starch-rich rhizomes of smooth Solomon's-seal as a “potato-like food” used to make breads and soups. The young shoots are also edible, raw or boiled for an asparagus-like food. How to make tea- 1. Boil 250ml (8oz) of water. 2. Put in 1~2 teaspoon of the herbs in the water. 3. Wait for about 3-5 minutes for the herb to brew, take out the herbs, then drink. For best results, use filtered water (water can affect the taste of the tea if it is not filtered) 4. Ingredients can be used 2-3 times. Enjoy!! **You can drink the tea hot or cold **For a delicious change, try it with honey, or your favorite sweetener.

Good and clean
I've bought several bags of herbs from this brand, they cost but more than others but the quality is very good. Solomon's seal root goes great in tead drinks and I mostly use it in Asian soups
