Great for the price.
light weight, cuts great! Better quality than hanwei hat is at the same price point. little long for me, but I love it. Dragon king is doing a great job making decent shinken at an affordable price. I recommend them to my students for practice cutting.

Beautiful but fit and finish could have been better
Amazon offered this $900 Katana for 40% off last month so I ordered one. The blade is beautiful to look at but sadly my unit had a couple of issues. After removing the tsuka, there was significant rust on the nakago but that was easily cleaned up. I also had some weird stains on the habaki but again some simple polishing removed those. Just when I thought those were the only issues, I noticed the blade was not 100% true. It's very subtle but upon inspection it stands out. I had planned to return this unit but I do like the features of this Katana. Other than the tsuka being a little long, it's a wonderful build. I decided to keep my unit especially given the discounted price. This model is being sold at near retail pricing so the current price isn't bad. I would just be sure to give them a thorough inspection.
