I am using these for two of my doors leading to the outside. They were installed in less than a minute each on the front and backdoors. They are solid and well built. I live in high desert and like to keep the doors open to create a cross breeze in the house when it is possible but the doors would sometimes blow closed from the breeze. So instead of propping something in front of the doors I decided to try these. Works beautifully and is not unsightly. They can be used by working your foot when your arms are full. I highly recommend them. Their customer service is excellent as they followed through with me to see that I was happy. As I live in a very rural area in Nevada and these came from the East Coast it did take 9 days to receive them from the date ordered. USPS did the delivery and I did expect it to take longer as sometimes freight can wait several days in small rural areas while waiting to be picked up by a truck and moved further along the route. I am an ex-truck driver so I know of the delays and the whys - ie there is no place to break up a set a doubles to get into the dock in the middle of the night because people have parked and left there cars where it is to be done.

very easy install. I'm using on two bedroom doors that I dont want my dogs busting the door wide open every time they come in (I use a small window ac units at night and up my central unit). works perfectly for my intended use. im 60 , not overly handy but just marked the three holes, drilled, then screwed them in. on carpet too , not sure if that matters to anyone else but I'm very pleased with this product. recommend.

Lasted 3 days and the rubber foot fell off. When I tried to repair it I found out the screw was stripped out that holds it in. Very cheaply made. I would not recommend.

They are ok. Should do the job for my door. It is a medium duty door and not very heavy. The thickness of the item itself is sufficient but I thought could be just a little better.

This door stop is really well made. The satin nickel finish may be better described as a medium bead blast finish, but from a few feet away, it looks like satin nickel. The weight is very low, but really quite strong.We have a closer on the door at the bottom of the stairs to ensure that pets don't get out by accidentally leaving door open. It is very convinient. We can pop the stop down with one foot, and with hands full on last trip up, pop the thing back up and have the door close behind us hands-free. Even in heavy winds, the door will not close!

We previously had to use a rock or heavy weight to prop open our self-closing gate. But even with the 2 closers, we are not able to hold the door open when we want to. We set the closers for the door to stay open, and the wind will push against the gas pistons and eventually push the door closed. This door stop is quick and easy to deploy, a light tap on the lever retracts the door stop. No more bending down to place and remove the rock/weight.I love these door stops. If you need to hold a door open, buy this product.

Two pack for a great price, plus it comes with screws! Sign me up!!Oh but wait.. 2 of the 3 screws stripped while installing. No problem, I was able to work them back out and replace with decent screws, and things worked ok for about a month and a half. It was pretty stiff to flip it into the up position but it stayed. Then, the small flexible kickplate behind the door stop that holds it up when flipped up simply snapped in half and fell out, and it wouldn't stay in the up position.Two stars because who knows, maybe the second in the set would have worked fine and perhaps the first one had some sort of defect in both the stopper and the screws... I wouldn't know though, I never installed the second one due to the inferior performance of the first.

These were cheap solution to hold garage door while unloading groceries. It worked great at first, easy-to-use by foot pressing down to hold door, flip back up and stick with ease. Now it will not stay up. We are using the 2nd one now which I'm sure will do the same. A few reviews mentioned the same, we saved a few dollars at first but basically rented a solution instead of fixed an issue.
