That might have been a blessing in disguise because after not finding another one from them in the color I wanted I gave this a try and it honestly feels and looks the same quality wise with the addition of the square loaf lid that doubles as a second pan. Time will tell on the durability but I don’t see how it could be any less than the “real thing.” Review: Great price for a a great little bread baking till I plan to use a lot. Creates perfect loaf size for a small household. It's basically a standard loaf size. Keep in mind that it is cast iron, so as such it is heavier than most loaf pans by quite a bit, though still manageable. The heat, as you can see in the images transfered well to the loaf and held it's temperature. The results are better than I expected for the first time.
